Great day at brooklands today and so many cars they didn't! Stop coming in, and such a good mix. Happy New Year and thank you to all who help today to make it so special.

Was a rest turn out and I also heard that by about 1300 hrs 1200 cars had attended ! We were held at the paddock entrance for about 5 mins before space was available on the banking . I was in the Blue S3 on your picture roll !

Three Borgwards! Very exciting! This was exceptional this year, but my only criticism is that the people who took the trouble to get there early were crammed into the crappy spaces by the racing car bays, instead of the nice ones on the banking. Here are a few pics:

Some nice pics, there chaps - I thought it was a great day, not too busy, relative ease getting in and out. Like the Breakfast Club used to be like!

I went along yesterday and it was a great mix of the weird & wonderful (and that’s just the owners biggrin)

Certainly a packed event, even if the weather wasn’t as kind as it could have been – bit of queuing to get in, but parked on the banking after around 10mins from the gate. Certainly got the impression that they staff hadn’t expected that many and I think there were a few tricks missed on the catering front (very slow).

The thing that I find sad/odd though is just how shabby Brooklands is starting to look – the main buildings are a great step back in time, but a lot of the place is starting to look like a scrap-yard – I suspect money is tight, but it can’t cost that much to clean up some of the site/give the planes a clean/clear away & move to the side some of the rusting trucks? Maybe it’s just me, but with a little bit of investment/coordination that place could be a goldmine!

Good overall morning though and some amazing cars there.

Make a financial contribution and/or become a volunteer. They always need volunteers to help.

£22 for two adults ('kin cheek), i.e. normal admission prices.

Here are a few non TVR ones that I thought where fantastic Its one Day that I would not miss each year a great way to start the year it was the 3000s turn this year the Vixen last year and the Porsche Targa and the 3000s the year before so I hope the Tuscan V8 SE Conversion for 2016 if all goes to plan it does mean half a day cleaning when we get back but more than worth it and the food up in the Members Bar is Great so if your not a Member well worth the investment

The Last time I saw this one was in the http://www.museomillemiglia.it/en/ Last Year I believe it is now for sale after the owner passed away I think its the same one

Hi, had a fantastic day. Fair play for those owners who made the effort even on a grimey cold day, lots of nice machinery:

Good parking spot on the banking as shown from members bridge.. how they tonked round there at 140 mph is beyond me:
