Spa Classic vs Spa 6 hours

I'm thinking about going to a classic race meet at Spa next year but am confused by the different events. What's the difference between the Classic (end of May) and the Classic 6 hours (end of September)?

The 6 hours features a long endurance race and, overall, is a bigger event. The Classic in May is made up of shorter races but that also includes a couple of 1hr races, including some which run after dark on Saturday night. 2014 timetable is here.
