A really enjoyable day thank you, and I hope lots of money was raised.

Not sure yet on my favourite car - too much choice! Possibly the F40, which overtook me on the M20 just before coming off at J8. The driver slowed down, looked over and smiled before dropping a gear and going! Worth the entry price alone, and I hadn't even arrived yet.

I must get back to Leeds Castle with the family soon, I only live 15 minutes away and had never been in daylight before.

Had a really great day thanks smile Stuck around til the end to see the La Ferrari and the Koenigsegg brought round for pics in front of the castle and the helicopter. Drove out following the Lincoln Zephur based kit followed by La Ferrari.

Great pics and nice to see a couple of my yellow 350Z.

Was a brilliant day although I did come away looking like a tomato thanks to the beautiful weather.

Does anyone know where to find the pictures the photographer was taking of the cars arriving in the morning?

Most of them are still working on them but on the Supercar Siege Facebook page - they're starting to appear...most people are using the hashtag #‎Supercarsiege‬

The big picture I took can be found here : It's a where's wally kind of thing - see if you can find yourself.

Stick it on full screen and zoom about..

I will keep an eye on the facebook page. I also can't find myself in the picture... This may or may not be because I spent a good amount of time drooling over the F40 inside the castle walls biggrin

We reckon it was taken at about 3pm-ish. If you can remember where you were, at around that time.....

Firstly apologies for not posting this earlier but I've been offnet for a few weeks and doing things on the phone is a nightmare.

Just as a way of an update and you may have seen this earlier but if not, do read on.

As you may or may not be aware our only sources of revenue from the Supercar Siege are taken from the car display passes, the Sporting Bears Dream Rides and a percentage of the takings from the catering vendors.

With that in mind our main mission for this show was to smash last years total and we set out sights firmly on the £15,000 target.
The whole team are very proud to announce that with your help, Supercar Siege 2015 raised a total of: £24000
(We anticipate this to raise slightly once Tax Gift-Aid is processed from a number of donations as well as selling the remaining charity wrist bands).
This final amount will be received by The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund and we have no doubt that the funds will be put to good use immediately.

Please note that the RNRMCF is always looking for support so please have a look at their website found here: http://rnrmchildrensfund.org.uk/

Our thank you list:
Mulgari Automotive, thank you for offering your amazing support to this years show. You stepped up to the plate when we needed help the most and without your show sponsorship we would have had no chance of coming back for 2015. You put up with our constant email/phone calls despite being one of the busiest companies we know of. We hope that you and your clients enjoyed themselves on the day and wish your company well in it's new ventures this year. Mulgari Automotive are a company we will be hearing lots about for years to come.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to all of the cars owners and their families who got up early, traveled to the far flung reaches of Kent and put up with the dull and overcast predicted weather (thank you weather forecasters for a multitude of sunburns within our team), all in the name of this worthwhile charity.

This years displays were of the highest standard and we received nothing but great feedback regarding the cars on show. All of the forums and clubs that took part were well organised and even better behaved than we could have ever hoped for.

The team in pink would like to say thank you to all the drivers that had patience whilst they handed out passes, parked up cars and at the end of the day got you out of the castle in a safe and sensible manner.

SuperVettura and friends, what can we say. For those not aware, SuperVettura helped supply the amazing trio in our VIP area. We wanted to make sure this years show built on the success of last years show and having such amazing hypercars on display did this and then some. Driving a million pound plus car through the caste arches with less than an inch clearance. Tommy and Neil, you are the stuff of legends.

I would like to say a heart felt thank you to all of the volunteers on our team who were up at 4am to make sure everything on the day ran smoothly.I am sure you would have seen the many pink hi-vis vests throughout the day doing everything from babysitting the VIP area to changing bins by the food vendors. We have always said without them this event would just not be possible. They are a small team and I ask them to move mountains, which they do without complaint time and time again. Guys and girls, thank you.

Next we would like to say thank you to all of the drivers and volunteers that helped out with the Sporting Bears Dream Rides, to not only give up your weekends for numerous events throughout the year but to also allow members of the public to ride in your pride and joy whilst covering the cost of fuel etc is nothing short of remarkable.

The majority of the above total came from the donations for the car rides and without their participation the Siege would not have been the success it was. This year saw a first where all of the cars actually sold out. We know from the amazing feedback already received that there were dozens of happy passengers throughout the day and I have no doubt all off the 200+ rides that took place resulted in life long memories for those sat in the passenger seats.
If you are interested in joining their ranks, please feel free to head over to: http://www.sportingbears.co.uk/

The food vendors and trade stands a great success again this year, we admit that we struggled slightly to keep queues down over the peak periods but I believe the traders had some very happy customers once they sampled the food. We are happy that we chose the companies that we did as they were amazing on the day.

The Royal Navy contingent were also fantastic. Those of you who have followed our social media stream will know we came very close to not having the helicopter display this year. Baz Firth, co-founder of the Supercar Siege, went to war for us and fought like the Navy man that he is to ensure we had our centre piece for 2015 and we are all very grateful for his hard work and endurance in those trying times.

I'm sure if you attended the show you no doubt will have wondered over to the Navy Merlin display area at some point and would have seen the impressive queues of people waiting to clamber inside. A great photo back drop, a huge crowd pleaser and something for all to enjoy. And that was just Baz.We would also like to mention that the crew covered their own accommodation costs this year which used to be a charity expense. This was a great token of charity from themselves and one we acknowledge with broad smiles.

A personal note from myself, this event takes months to plan and and untold amounts of admin behind the scenes. This year we had Robert "Jim-BoB" Brown helping out with the administration side of things. He spent most evenings collating spreadsheets, liaising with forums and chasing after the dreaded anonymous donations until the early hours. Although most of our team helped out above and beyond the call of duty (Craig McAteer!) Jim-Bob was always on hand day or night to take a phone call or text or email. Thank you buddy, you kept me sane.

From Team Pink, The Royal Navy & Royal Marine Children's Fund, Baz Firth and myself thank you for being part of our Supercar Siege family.
Kindest regards,
Ross Thomson
