Has anyone heard anything about wheels day for 2015 as it's good to have something to look foreward to whilst winter is about ?.

Wheels Day will be going ahead as usual on the 3rd April at Rushmoor Arena in Aldershot. You may exhibit by applying for one of the 500 pre-book tickets, 250 of which were done by the end of December. Your car has to be approved by the Surrey Street Rodders because it is now (pleasingly) an American, rod 'n' kustom show only, just like it used to be. Tickets have doubled to £10, but that includes one passenger if you're exhibiting.

Presumably if you go as a public visitor not in a hot rod or other there will be entry tickets available on the day ?.

I haven't heard anything confirmed either way, but I'd be very surprised if non-exhibitors couldn't get in on the day.

Been going to this for years.

Thought 2014 might have been the last due to a lot of bad feedback over the traffic jams into Dunsfold.

Might think twice about going if the price has gone up and there won't be as much variety. I like the Americana but car meets with restrictions tend to be less interesting to me.

I agree, but after the massive backlash the organisers received from last years event, I think they have just decided that they don't need that kind of agro for what is meant to be a charity event.

Such a shame as it was a huge event and really the traffic side of it let it down. The thing that caused all the trouble was a single set of traffic lights for the main junction. Sadly a lot of cars never made it there, breaking down and overheating at the side of the road.

Good to see they are back at Rushmoor arena. Whilst younstill have to que to get in its nowhere near as bad as the cluster fk that was dunsfold. I qued for hours to get in passed loads of broken down cars and on arrival no one wanted to take my money and couldn't find a charity tin to put it in.

However it will be a shame that it's only Americana now as there was always some interesting cars like a crazy chopped camper I once saw.

It's about going back to its roots as a Custom Car/Street Machine-style show, so not just Americana. Custom campers would probably be welcome.
