Thought I would update this thread after today's instalment to give people and idea of what we get along...

Second time I have been and must say that I was a little disappointed. I arrived at 15.45 and was a bit surprised to see that most people had already left, will just have to get there earlier,if I come again. Some great cars turn up and it is nice to have something relatively near to me.
Despite the notices, shame about the idiots who race away when leaving, the half wit in the supercharged R8 wheelspinning in the gravel was a high point!

Hi Blue, yes since we moved to a 2pm start, people are actually starting to arrive just after 1pm, and leave from 3pm onwards. And yes, it is a shame about the minority who misbehave a little, boys will be boys I guess!

Good turnout this Sunday, got there early this time! Some very different and very nice cars to see.
What are the plans for the future?

Glad you enjoyed it - me too! Fantastic range of vehicles and people.

All being well (ie Doddington Hall agreeing to it), we will be back next year, March or April I guess.

There are many things we could do with the event, but I think one of the main attractions is how relaxed and informal it is, and I'm a little reluctant to change that. At the same time, Doddington like to maintain a degree of control, so any changes would have to be acceptable to them.

But we're open to suggestions of course! Any ideas?

We're back for 2016! Will be every fourth Sunday of the month, April to September, 2-5pm.

Just in case anybody on here follows our little event....

Due to the success of the first show of the year a few weeks ago, and a clear requirement for more space, we have moved the location to Newark Showground.

We have exclusive use of a nice, green part of the grounds, with caterers and nearby toilets.

Next show is May 22nd, 1pm start.

Good man Darren! Haven't seen many PH stickers around so far.... Was out and about quite a lot over the weekend. Seems to be so many nice cars around Lincoln, that only come out to play when the sun shines!

Brought my Clio along parked in the far corner of the field.

Was a good turn out, plenty of variation. Supercars, hot-hatches, stanced stuff, classics 4x4s.

Had to leave early because I had a tired/grumpy 4 year old.

Fantastic turnout last weekend. Around 350 cars and some real gems....458 Speciale, Gallardo SuperLeggera, 240Z, all manner of Mustangs old and new etc...
