Who Going?

Been last 4 years to the European rounds now being a World round supported by the FIA it looks brilliant.

first 2 rounds have been non stop action so far with Petter Solberg (last years champion) currently leading the championship.

I will be going up Friday and camping until close of play Sunday

By far the best motorsport in the world IMO just interested to see if anyone on here is staying.

I'm heading down on the Sunday. Only done British Rallycross before - and in fact never been to Lydden, rather shamefully. Really looking forward to it!

I've never been to this before but we're thinking of going this year.
We live 4-5 hours away so I'm just wondering - how much is on on the Saturday, will we be ok to arrive around lunchtime and not miss too much? Also how late will it run on the Sunday and is it worth hanging around a bit afterwards?
We're trying to work out how many night's accommodation we might need.

a weekend ticket is 45, a pitch to camp is £20 but if you get there sat lunch time you will only miss the warm up/practice.
The only problem with getting there then I it will be harder to find a pitch as last year we got there Friday evening about 8pm and was already chocca.

Thanks for this info. We'd try to find a B&B rather than camp so space wouldn't be a worry. How do these events compare in size to a BTCC meeting?

The work round such as this is very busy (although wouldn't say to BTCC size ), However it Is the fastest growing motorsport and in my opinion far better to watch, 5 lap races, 600bhp + , and contact is very much similar to BTCC.

Not to mention the names of the drivers, world wide wise there's bigger names in here

Yes we found the highlights show on Quest so watched the 2nd round a few days ago.
Plus OH is a Foust fan and I am a Jordan fan.
We've only seen rallycross live once before, at Mallory Park, couldn't believe the speed the cars move off the line.

Yeah and Mallory park being the british round, this is a big step up, speed and competiveness wise.

Yeah used to watch Andy when I fist started going when he was 18/19 winning everything on the rallycross scene.

Im a fousty fan and the local Heathfield guy (for me) Julian Godfrey.
