Tickets arrived safely thanks.
Is the original poster going to this event as I would like to thank you for the gesture.
It's my birthday today and attending this event is really exciting.

I will be travelling down from Yorkshire and wondered if someone could direct us to the best parking area and best place to watch the event from. I believe these tickets include for inner area access so might visit the new pits (Not built when I was last at Silverstone). Does anyone know which entrance to use?

Cheers - hope to see you there.

Hi Phil,

I am hoping to pop over at some point but there's no need to thank me, I'm just happy that the tickets get used. I bought tickets to every race meeting as a deal and it's nice to see people attending the club meetings as well the bigger events smile

I'll be bringing guests to the British GT meet so the suites will be open then as well, if I have any spare for those I'll be sharing them here as well.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I went to this today. Cracking event. Very impressed with the racing. Not sure I'd drive a classic that hard if I owned one. Some great cars in the car park too.

I'll second that. The racing was similar to the Silverstone Classic for a fraction of the price (or in our case, free - thanks for the ticket!). Particularly liked the six wheeler.

The car park was on a par with a Sunday Service (the dino being my favourite) while in the paddock front engined Ferraris seem to be the road car of choice.

I also went today and enjoyed some good racing. As others have said there was some very nice cars in the car park and paddock with the gt40 being a favourite of mine. Thank you to the original poster for the gesture of the tickets it was much appreciated and was very kind of you.

Many thanks again for a great day out with a very relaxed pit atmosphere.
Brilliant being able to get so close in the pits and the suite had a good view of the old start straight from last corner.

Cheers
Phil.

No wonder it was so busy! A mate does work for some of the cars, so got free tickets and pit wall passes.

A good day out.
