I'm up for that, and the 18th sounds fine.

Why not meet at the Kit & Sportscar Show 17th - 18th at Three Counties Showground, Malvern. Clubs displaying and site of the biggest gathering of buggies, rails and bajas in UK, with two days of off-road racing. Westfield are showing the car used in A Racecar Is Born and several cars on display from new Channel 5 series

There are several 'Trout' pubs on the Thames west of Oxford. Do you mean Lechlade, Tadpole Bridge, Godstow (Inspector Morse's pub)
The one at Tadpole Bridge is good - decent sized car park too - and only 5 miles from me

Can someone please post a link to this pub. The closest I can find is this one, which looks great but isn't in Burford www.trout-inn.co.uk/

(Found this when I was looking

If you do choose the Tadpole bridge 'Trout' then I'd advise you to approach it from the south if you have very limited ground clearance as you have to cross the hump back bridge from the north.

I would get there as soon after it opens as possible - if not before! I think its one of those places that tends to attract quite a few people on a sunday afternoon. I went to the 'Maybush' a few miles downstream a couple of weeks ago at about 12:20 and nearly all the outside tables were taken!

Ok - 11:30 sounds good. I'll have no excuss for being late, me living about 5 minutes away! There is quite a long straight as you approach the bridge from the south - you'll be able to see the traffic lights for the bridge in the distance. The pub is on the right just before the lights.

I would come along but I'm in Cardiff that day. Have a good time. Shame I can't make it, as I know Mr Three Hands from Marlow loves the sound of one and a half scooby engines snorting through my red beetle's sports exhaust

But won't the bar/pub be closed until 12:00pm? What with it being a Sunday and all!
Cheers.... Andrew
