I've just called the pub. The doors open at 12.00am and said they get quite busy on a Sunday. The chap I spoke to, Anthony, said it's a good idea to book a table in case the weather's crap. Sounds like a good idea to me since if it's nice we can all sit outside and there are bound to be takers for the inside table.

What d'you reckon Funky- make a booking for a dozen or so? I'm happy to book it in my name if you want. After all, I'm not local.......

btw. Whatever we do it would be a good idea to arrive early if it's nice (beach towels etc.).

If the gods of hooning are on my side, I should get the Caterham back from the engine builders this week. If I do, London > Trout > London will be ideal running in fodder.

Fingers crossed.

Edit - Andrew, if I do make it, I will not be "on the arm"

Table for 12(ish) booked here www.trout-inn.co.uk, nominally for 12.15pm. Didn't specify indoors or outdoors. Looking forward to it.

I'll definitely be going now - with t'other half. Sounds like a table for 12 is going to be too small?!

Andrew gb123456(?) - looks like at least two of us will have other halves with us, if that makes any difference to you. I can amuse you with more tales of the unexpected from my car's latest trip to Stings...

Ed - how about asking Bluesatin to meet at The Dog in Peppard? That would be on the way to The Trout from Marlow...

I'll try to make this one. Shame, there is a meet in surrey too which is nearer to me.

Manu have you decided to whether you are going? Not sure if Nat will be up for coming, but I'll have to ask, she got upset for not being invited last time. If she's not coming you are welcome to ride with me, assuming I can make it (might be a little last minute).

Richb - nice piccy, but that's the Trout near to Oxford. (Village name?) The meeting Trout is a little further away, off the A420.

Ed and Gavin

The dog in Peppard is fine . Have you got a post code for this to find the route. Is it us three or is anybody else joining the run to the Trout???

I reckon you should all come on the Surrey run...

Nice pub lunch just after midday, but with a blast through the roads in convoy beforehand!

trouble is surrey's a bit too far for some of us, like 3 hours each way
