The Supercar Event
Discussion
Nice to see the total is in and the £100k target was beaten.
I thought the weekend was very well organised, and didn't experience any significant problems from other drivers. However, I'm surprised the most important potential improvement hasn't been mentioned yet. Having our own food van and toilets is a great help - but where was our ice cream van?

Here is the highlights from Saturday video that was being played on the big screen for anybody that didn't get a chance to see it

Yes the total of £115,000 raised was a fantastic achievement. for your information we had over 16,000 through the door and carried out well over 2500 rides over the 2 days.
Supercar 2016 will be on 25th & 26th June 2016 so those that want to come please put this in your diaries.
Wow that's impressive even with the poor weather Saturday.Supercar 2016 will be on 25th & 26th June 2016 so those that want to come please put this in your diaries.
I did not think you would make it when the weather turned bad, brilliant news.
I parked the Atom when it was properly raining, the back section between the chicane and Gambon had no grip at all, which would have been an entertaining challenge but not when you've got someone else's kid in the car.
Congratulations to all on the total raised. I'll be there next year.

I was lucky enough to be taken round by Nilesh in his black 458 Speciale, amazing car and super nice bloke.

Incredible result! I also thought it would have been a struggle with the awful weather reports, but it was another banner year. Congratulations to all the organisers (shame Bachi couldn't be there to enjoy it too) who put in a mammoth effort and all the drivers too. Roll on next year!Supercar 2016 will be on 25th & 26th June 2016 so those that want to come please put this in your diaries.

115k, excellent effort, well done the organisers! Best event of the year in my opinion.
Look forward to the next one.

I have to agree with you. I had to sell my S197 start of last year so apart from my 66 Mustang didn't really have a suitable car for last years event. One of the overriding reasons for buying my current S197 was so I could take part in this years event. I'm really glad that I did and hopefully I will be in a position to keep it for next year. The Supercar Event has become the highlight of my year for a variety of reasons, can't wait until next year.Look forward to the next one.

Steve your car is a real stunner.
I like this video (Can't think why?)
Also took the young lady out in my Mustang on the Sat & Sun and had exactly the same reaction, nice to have a happy customer. Got some in car video somewhere but the camera was pointing the other way

Almost forgot to say, great driving!

I had a great time and will be back next year, credit to the organisers and the drivers for raising so much for a good cause.

I'm not sure I'd have been able to concentrate(-:
Same with me, lots on videos from the outside of the car, school boy error!
I'm gradually putting my videos up from last weekend; keep an eye on my channel for more. I'm working on more onboard camera laps at the moment and then will put up some more track footage (without music as I know some of you prefer just to here the lovely engine noise.)
Here's the playlist of this years videos which so far include, highlights from the weekend, some fun Top Gear 'auditions', Razor R8 and Crazy Cart footage, plus the first of the onboard camera laps in spikeyhead's Ariel Atom. More on the way and I will add to this playlist as I go.

Huge thanks to Nikkie and James for volunteering their 355 this year to ferry me and my camera gear and for helping me cart kit around and switch the Go Pro between cars. I'm not long off crutches after ankle surgery and couldn't have done it without them.
