It looks like the Race of Champions is coming back to London this year. I really enjoyed it when it was at Wembley in 2007, but it is moving to the Olympic Park this year.

Just getting my tickets.
was excellent at Wembley, apart from freezing cold, and not many people there.
will be much better at the Olympic stadium.

Yeah, I noticed the two nominal sections at £24, then the rest at £40+.

Sadly I suspect that there will be even less people at the Olympic stadium than at Wembley.

We went to the very first ROC and it was brilliant, but the format has been dying on its arse for many years.

Very poor promotion and limited coverage means that it has been relegated to a forgotten event, even by the most hardcore rally fans of WRC and other events that we and many others enjoy.

I am surprised it is still a cure t event to be honest, it can not survive much longer I suspect.

Enjoy it while it's still available!

Well thanks again to all the team at PH, who we will be joining on Saturday for the race of champions, as we were lucky enough to win a pair of tickets.

As much as we love to party and the shard is a great venue, I did look out of interest at those tickets, but felt that £300 for the two of us for a night out was a tad steep, so I think we will have to pass on the part offer, sorry guys.

Still really looking forwards to the ROC on the day though.

How many other PHers are going on Saturday?

The seats are allocated to your ticket are they not?

We are in S/F level 1 which i was told were the best for viewing.

surprised they have not done any deals or offers to fill the place.
always better to have a full house of people paying £10, rather than half full of people paying £20.

We have booked as a family for Saturday and have just got an email offering £10 tickets for Friday. Which would be good if I was not at work to pay for the Sat tickets.

Hope those who are going enjoy it more than me.

Constant LOUD music drowning out the noise of engines, Mickey Mouse circuit, "Crofty" and his co-commentator saying how great it was. The real low point was the slebs driving Atoms around a pseudo auto-test.

Venue was 20% full.

Just glad I got free tickets
