A friendly up and coming event with some awesome cars being demonstrated on a short section of track plus a few flying displays... the rain today was a bit disruptive to the flying but tomorrow looks to be better - and has the Vulcan turning up as well.

We were there on the Saturday and had a brilliant time. I'll certainly be looking to return next year.

A few phone shots....I got a bit preoccupied with the Jag, it was just stunning. Good day out really, Castrol, Spitfires and a missing Vulcan frown

I was fortunate enough to be invited in to make up numbers on their flight line display. Landing on a pre-war complete grass RAF bomber station is something i won't forget in a hurry, especially the x-winds on finals! seeing the Blenheim return also a 'glad i was there' moment.

For a first event, I have to say hats off to them! Hospitality was great; car and flying displays absorbing and I couldn't get over the Grant tank rescued from the firing range they have somehow got running.

Overall, top day: Bicester Heritage deserves success and all the support they can get.
