Aberdeen Coffee Meet 5th September 10.30 am

We (Westburn Finance) are hosting a coffee meet for our Sports and Exotic customers at The Four Mile Hotel, Kingswells, Aberdeen.

Saturday 5th September, 10.30 start. There might be an informal drive somewhere afterwards ;-)

All are welcome. We have invited customers for whom we have funded Ferraris, Porsches, F-Types, R8s etc. so we hope to see some great cars there.

Given this is Pistonheads, I'm not sure a lot of people will be keen to advertise the fact their cars are financed.

What is the aim for the day? Attract car owners along and try to sell them finance deals?

As a regular to a meeting of fellow classic / sporting car guys on a Saturday at the Four Mile, I have no interest in being part of a sales pitch on our relaxed coffee mornings. I believe most of our "meet" feel the same.....even for a free bacon buttie

The intention of this event was to gather together car enthusiasts, nothing more.

We are a finance company yes, we are also car enthusiasts dealing with the financing of these vehicles on a daily basis. Our customers therefore own many superb motor cars.

As to advertising that ones car is on finance I disagree this is an issue for most. We regularly deal with very wealthy individuals who understand that financing a car purchase makes far more sense than diluting ones capital in one lump sum- particularly at the rates available these days.

I am sorry that there was a feeling we have hijacked your event, or that we were there to sell to you. We have cancelled this event and will invite our party to meet elsewhere.
