Have to be in Woodstock for lunch, which isn't ideal timing given the likely level of traffic and lack of parking.

Plan had been to then release the savages into the park afterwards. Is there much to see from the outside or is it all in the courtyard etc?

I was there on Thursday with Mrs Leg.

We stayed at the McDonald Bear Hotel near the main gate to the Palace which was excellent.

A big thanks to my insurers, First Point, for inviting us along as guests.

Here are some pics. I nearly died of Pimms and Champagne poisoning! ;-)

Firstly Derek Bell's Porsche GTS in the hotel car park. I got chatting to him in the Reception about his Porsche, cars in general and we both had a little moan about people who buy classics/supercars and barely drive them. Nice chap, proper down to earth.

By Saturday the FXXK and Ford GT Concepts had gone which was sad considering Saturday's theme was Supercars. Only three privately owned Mk1 Veyons by way of celebrating 10 years of Veyron were in attendance. It was good to see Pagani supporting the show and half a dozen Zonda/Huayras lined up to wow the public.

Various car clubs inc Lambo, Ferrari, Aston Martin made a great showing and pleased the crowds who could at least park without problems.

Location is easy to get to and from. Weather was dull and cloudy until mid afternoon just as we were about to leave.

Overall a good effort and worth visiting again next year.

Best car I saw on Saturday was skirting Chipping Norton when this went the other way!

Was heading South on M40 on Saturday morning and must have seen about 4 Pagani Zondas (plus, I'm fairly, sure, one of the latest) and numerous Ferraris and Lambos heading in the opposite direction. My head nearly fell off.

I was wondering where/why they were going and though the trusty PH events section would inform!
