I've just removed myself from the list.

It's the only chance I've got for a decent kip for ages and I'm in serious need!

Enjoy!

Hi guys. I'm looking forward to my first Sunday Service having moved to UK not long ago. Used to go onto tracks in New Zealand but I haven't got a track-prepped car here yet so maybe I'll be a passenger if there are seats available...

See you guys soon!

I used the petrol station inside Silverstone at ford fair in August. Sure I paid £1.45 a litre!
Cheers, some tracks don't always have the pumps on so that's good to know. It's not really surprising it costs a bit more, buuuut... They do 102 octane!! bounce

Usual brilliant Sunday Service with the added bonus of some track time. Shame that half the 10.10 session was wiped out by an oil spill, but my own stupid fault for not booking a second session.
Cars of the day; the Ultima and T70, and great to see the Carrera GT on track.

Well what a fantastic morning as ever at Silverstone. Sunshine, friendly faces, stunning cars and the smell of cars being pushed to the limit (and slightly over at times).

Just a few images to share.

One of the first cars of track, what an absolute monster. The power and speed down the straight was impressive.

My favourite car of the day (other than the absolutely gorgous 650S in the pitlane), you really can't appreciate the stunning metallic glisten unless you are up close. I think this was the 12C that followed my SLK55 out onto the A43 - you made my morning as you overtook - you also have my other half hooked on the car. A possible future purchase for me.

Another favourite of mine.

and a few more...

The brakes were certainly glowing on these two by the end of their session!

and of course, thank-you to PH for organising! I also managed to pick up a little sticker finally smile

Fantastic SS as always, great variety of cars, great track action. Some of the cars on track were really impressive, that silver EP3 Type R was flying!

Massive thanks to the PH crew for organising it as per, and thanks also to everyone who attended and brought such a brilliant variety of cars for us to look and and watch on track smile

Excellent morning, nicely organized and have to say a lot of fun thumbup
I got a few pictures, though did end up spending the latter half of my morning trying to sort out geekman's? MR2 after it conked out.. though the noises coming from the engine and the distinct lack of oil did not bode well! frown
Good to meet a few new faces, and see some of the cars I watch on here up close

I was in the black focus ST in the 10.10 session. Did anyone get any footage of my very dodgy moment going into Copse corner, sideways at 85mph? 😂😂😂

Honestly think the Silverstone venue is one of the best sunday services. Bacon was nice and plenty of room for all the cars, I'm sure they could have fitted 1000 cars in with ease. Not sure how many of the 500 actually turned up but it seemed very spread out. Which is a shame because if people don't bother taking their name of the list then others miss out on a fantastic day. Thanks for a brilliant morning Pistonheads + Silverstone, paddock cafe was a great alternative to the usual burger van. smile

Great morning out, so many stunning cars on show. Really enjoyed being able to watch the track action from the pit wall, well done to all those brave enough.

More pics http://s659.photobucket.com/user/GregK22/library/P... for anyone interested.
