Ferrari museum & factory tour

Just correct that for you
Do you have a factory tour booked?

The Enzo Museum at MODENA is a lot better than the museum at the factory. The factory tour is truly amazing. You will be a fan after the visit.
tbh it's worth going to the Museum in Maranello if you've not been before, lots of nice metal there, also some shops, lots of places to drive a Ferrari too :thumb up:Do you have a factory tour booked?
I preferred the museum by the factory in Maranello. It seemed to have more cars in it, and more interesting stuff like concepts and test mules when I went. The one in Modena is very swish, but its basically just a large hall with about a dozen or so cars in it.
I don't know if there is a proper factory tour you can get on to, but the one on offer to the public is basically a mini bus drive around the grounds and test track. It sounded rubbish, so I didn't bother.
The Lamborghini museum near Bologna is also well worth a visit. Their factory tour is great too - a proper close up guided tour of the Aventador production line - though you have to book in advance for this.

Nothing booked yet but looking at the websites, there won't be a crush. I have to say looking at the websites, Maranello looks to feature cars more as opposed to Modena which concentrates more on Enzo. As we will be on public transport I imagine doing Modena and then going to the factory tour in one day would not be feasible. Any more thoughts?GG33 said:

Can't seem to find a link on their website for the tour. Do you have one? Thanks

See "Museum tickets + Visit to the Factory" on this page:

I think the other "Guided tour" option is just a guided tour of the museum.

Depending on your preferences and available time consider the Ducati factory.
It's just outside Bologna so a taxi-ride away from the centre.

If you're into bikes it's highly recommended and the on-site museum (which you don't need to book) is well worth a visit even if you aren't doing the tour.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.

Visited the Lamborghini museum today. I had hoped to get onto the factory tour but I had booked too late and it was full. I wasn't overwhelmed by the museum; it certainly wasn't worth the 2 hour round trip bus ride to me. I could have seen Lambos at the dealership near the park entrance at Porta San Stephano, Bologna for free, however there were a few interesting historical features in the museum.
