How about the Briggs Automotive Company (BAC Mono) based in liverpool?
Got JLR plant in Halewood too

Graphic of the plants around the UK, not sure what is classed as up North here, since for me North is Scotland

Been to Nissan before, was very good as well as Toyota in Derby.

Could also extend it to 1st tier OEMs, tyre manufacturing, exhausts, seating etc

Theres a few places that could be good.

- The heritage musuem (didn't you do this in 2014?)
- BAC
- Noble

Very leftfield suggestion - Finnings UK in Yorkshire? They overhaul the big caterpillar stuff and its awesome to see a supersized mechanics bay.

We're already in talks with Noble, although we're not sure we'll get anywhere as their factory / grounds are very small.

Transport museum in Coventry? I've not been for a while but it's just had a £9.5m makeover and has lots of interesting stuff. Free entry too.

Oulton Park in Cheshire would have enough space I'd have though.

Hey Everyone smile

This was also my first Pistonheads sunday service and really enjoyed looking round the cars and the turnout was great!

I work at Ginetta but wasn't working on the day but brought down my newly imported Nissan Skyline R32 GTR that everyone seems to be mentioning! lol biggrin

I will definitely be going to more in the future!

Thanks to Ollie for the mention of the Skyline in the sunday service review! never thought it would have gone down this well!

Cheers

Thank Ollie - it was a really great meet. Actually one of my favourite PHSS - was such a great atmosphere at Ginetta. Thanks for organising.

As others have said really, thank you for a great Sunday Service. First one I've been to and was very impressed by the organisation and in particular Ginetta who really pushed to the boat out with the welcome and extensive tour.

I've actually just started talks with Nissan / Infiniti about hosting a SS at the Sunderland plant.
I'd be up for that Ollie, been looking at an infiniti q50 hybrid for next Co car! Be interesting to learn more about them! Have a good Xmas pal.

Really impressed by the effort that Ginetta made for us, certainly put Aston Martin to shame earlier in the year!

Left the factory with the distinct impression that Ginetta are a race team that also sell cars rather than the other way around. Really great to see how they have arranged their series to give a clear progression all the way from Juniors right through to LMP3.

Trying to make the man maths work out for GRDC 2017 biggrin
