There's a pub called The Woodman in Ide Hill, Sevenoaks, it isn't hugely far from previous PH SE venues.

I've been there with South East Scoobies, so they're welcoming to car groups and have a pretty big car park... I'd say about the size of Botley Farm-ish. If anyone's up for trying a PH meet there one evening (hopefully before summer dies)... I'll email/pester them.

Id be up for a visit there used to go there back with SIDC about 10-12 years ago have been since nice pub, would be good if the turnout is good hopefully i wont be on hols when this is organised

It's over a mile from Ide Hill village and closer to Goathurst Common (turn round and head back down the hill).

I don't think you could accommodate as many as Botley Farm.

Bear in mind that recent Botley meets have been breakfast club dos.
There will be other patrons at the Woodman of an evening.
It will need to be a bit more low key than most of Umair's meets!

I didn't know PH had been there before, that's cool. From those threads, it seemed popular too.

Allocated spaces would be something I'd have to discus with the owners. I'm thinking mid-week evening to minimise taking over their car park and not upsetting other customers.

But yeah, i'll be in contact with them and report back, hopefully to secure an evening.

The tvr car club meet at the Woodman on the first Sunday of every month & the pub have always looked after us pretty well so that's a good shout to go there.

Edenbridge local here - I'm a fan of the Woodman. Less likely to get ridiculous fly-bys there compared to the Grasshopper too, which is a plus!

I would be happy to have a meet at my storage unit in Eastbourne. Good cafe next door. Loads of space in and out of the unit. Breakfast do, perhaps? You tell me!

Hopefully getting there! Turns out the pub is very recently under new management and there's been a bit of to and fro-ing with emails and deleted accounts etc.. But sorted now and fingers crossed I'll be starting a new event thread soon!

If this goes ahead i suggest a convoy there if its an early one. Some lovely quiet roads round there.
