S****horpe Supercar Meet Sunday 8 May

Looking to put together a Supercar gathering to gauge interest in a regular event in Shorpe. I know there are plenty of special cars and other interesting stuff 'tucked' away in garages around and about the area.

We will lay on a bacon butty bus and other stuff by way of refreshments if there is enough interest.

Good stuff. Your best bet is to probably stick a thread up over in the Yorkshire section as you will attract more local folk. Whereabouts is your proposed location?

Not sure yet guys as it depends on numbers. It was going to be a get together on the industrial estate similar to the one Mark runs at Specialist Cars of Malton (but without his stock 😏).
If this proved popular our intention was then to rent somewhere like Normanby Hall/Messingham for the second one which would then become a regular early/late summer couple of events.

I'd like the event to include 'other interesting stuff' as well so that we can cater for other tastes. We are hoping to have a pledge from Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee depending on their official commitments 😎. Could do with some nice bikes as well 😉.

I will start an official thread in due course where we can list cars and owners.

I can't see why it wouldn't work provided you get the balance of cars right. The best thing about Malton was always the mixtures of cars (and the sheer numbers of them). Looking at the events for the next few months you have the Malton Easter Sunday meet (March 27th) and then CITP on Sunday 8th May. The weather is usually decent in April so if you time it right you have a good slot between the two events.
