Appears a number of people who didn't get into the 300 just turned up anyhow and got in. Surely this defeats the point of the list in the first place?
Thought about just driving up, as was 30 places out, but figured a) that would be a bit of a piss take and b) 260 miles is a long way to travel only to be turned away.e21Mark said:

Really enjoyed seeing the new BMW M2 Coupe. Looks fantastic. Sounds better than the M3/M4 IMO. Great bacon baps. Good sunshine. Lots of tasty BMWs to drool over. Lovely building. Lots of interesting cars in the car park. 5x M3 CSLs, e30 325i Sport, Ferraris, Lambos, TVRs, 1Ms, M3s, 6s, Cayman GT4 etc.
One of the most enjoyable PHSS I been to along with a visit to Bracknell with PHSS in 2010 which was also as amazing.
I suppose if I was going to nit pick you were only allowed tea or coffee to drink with breakfast. However, thank you very much to BMW and PH for a lovely event. I would love to go again and spend even longer looking at all the cars on display and the cars in the car park.
Loved the sound of the M4 GTS sounded superb.
I do love the look and sound of the new M2 Coupe although not unfortunately as loud as M4 GTS. I don't think you can get in Interlagos Blue, Estoril Blue or Velvet Blue or Le Mans Blue. This and the M235i + LSD are probably the only new BMWs that interest me and in my price range currently. Would have loved to seen more of BMW's own M3 CSL.
Maybe BMW could one day show off their heritage fleet.
Many Thanks

I wasnt on the list but was a guest of BMW UK.
However I just drove straight in and nobody checked who I was. I am confident to say that should anyone have turned up they would have got in whether you have a car or were on foot.

Hi everyone. It was great to see a full house in attendance and to get to chat all things 'car' with many of you. I hope you all got home ok.. By the sound of it some of you were in a hurry when you left
I think you will ALL agree today's SS was an fantastic event! BMW certainly laid on an amazing 'spread' for us all....and i'm not just talking about the hot butties The bar has now certainly been set for those SS to follow.
Here are a few snaps taken by PH team member and our in house photographer Dafydd Wood: We hope you enjoy them. Please also share any snaps that you took.

Frustrating to hear. However I just drove straight in and nobody checked who I was. I am confident to say that should anyone have turned up they would have got in whether you have a car or were on foot.
Excellent lurking by the way!
Great event - used to work as a supplier to BMW when they were at Bracknell and went to a SS there years ago in the rain - today - nice new offices, great cars on display - bags of parking and the usual BMW uber-efficient catering
Only minor shame - none of the heritage cars on display - they have a lovely M1 and a 1950's V8 roadster, would have been nice to see n M1 alongside an I8
Nonetheless 10/10 for Pistonheads and BMW!!

Well done BMW and the Pistonheads crew, excellent event, brilliantly organised. Great to see so many other BMW coupes, well worth raising the 635CSI from her winters slumber....
Oh, we were right next to the TVR when it back fired in the car park..thought it might make my 3 year old boy cry, but he had a big beaming smile instead...test passed!
