Hi Pidsy, I will be sending out a private email next week (usually Wednesday) to all those who managed to sign up to the list.
Within this email there will be any special instructions for attending if there are any, such as directions and the all important windscreen 'sticker' that we ask all attendees to have on display on arrival.

Will the parking be in one of their multi story car parks?

Well this SS seems to have got your mouths watering.

As this is the first one BMW are hosting at their new UK Headquarters the numbers have been strictly capped based on parking restrictions on site.
We did initially explore the potential of opening up the event to those that parked off site, however after further investigation it was agreed this posed to much of a Health Safety issue and i know it might not seem like it sometimes but we do care about our members .

Now we have seen there is a huge demand for this particular SSI will discuss with the guys at BMW of hosting another later on in the year whereby the reserve list has priority for signing up.

Like I said on FB we do have even more Sunday Services this year so there should be enough for everyone.

So what are you doing about no shows who don't remove themselves from the list?

We have parking allocated in the multi story car park and in front of the buildings.

Hopefully we won't have that many.. however I will be monitoring the list up until the last minute for those that remove themselves, and if a place becomes available I will email the next in line on the reserve list.

Is there any way for future SS can be a reserve area for others to meet too? The demand far outweighs the 200 or so places

I think people are forgetting that the SS are free events organised by the team in conjunction with venues, the venue sizes vary from location to location but there are enough through the year especially in this neck of the woods that if you miss one then you're likely to make the next one.

Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated. I did notice a suspicously high number of BMWs relatively speaking.

Not me, I may have a BMW and be on the list but I only found out when I clicked on the homepage and had to join up like everyone else.

Hopeful of 250-odd drop outs, but think that is rather unlikely! Shame as I have an order on an M2, and haven't had a chance to see one yet. Luckily off to Geneva next month, so should get a good poke around then, but looking forward to seeing the feedback from those that go this weekend. Have a good one all

So for those 100 who were next in line on the reserve list.. cancel whatever plans you had as you're coming to Farnborough.
