Hi all

Can anyone help with some secure piece of mind parking?..?

I have 2 plots for tetra rouge and there is 5 of us however one has decided he wants to take his car now so that would be 3 cars in total.
Now I know there would be room at tetra rougue for an extra car they won't allow that for obvious reasons..
So was wanting to know if anyone knows any safe parking near by to tetra rougue?? Car will be a TVR cerbera and he doesn't want to be worrying about it parked up somewhere as I'm sure you can imagine..

Thanks in advance

only stick the camping pass on with the corners, drive in. drive out in the other car or on foot, reapply pass to second car, drive back in again.

That's a bit naughty

But TBH there was plenty of room there and am sure some people had far more cars than they did tents...

My wife seems to think that they scan in and out so if a ticket is scanned in twice it will flag up.

Happy to pay for parking if at all possible .... Anyone have more plots than cars ...?

When you arrive you will be given another unique to Tetre Rouge sticker for your windscreen, none of the other campsites get these stickers, I think its because its actually inside the circuit. every time you leave campsite on foot you get a ticket so you can get back in, stops the public from wandering onto campsite.

The last few years, when you arrive they write the car reg onto the camping ticket which kind of scuppers duplicating. You might get a lax door person and you only need that once (if it wont move for a few days) but I wouldn't count on it. Get a parking space (numbered) in the nearest official car park. Not expensive.

If you're an ACO member go for Parking Passion 24, just across the bridge from TR and looks as secure as they get (fence round it and staff always on the gate), otherwise go for on of the other Rouge car parks

Don't risk it. Get a car park space in Parc Vert in the bugatti circuit. Cheap and peace of mind. There is tunnel across the track and probably no more than a 10 minute walk.
24hr security.

As others have stated no chance of getting two cars in on one ticket as all tickets are scanned at the circuit entry and also the reg is then written on the pass at the entry to TR camp, but parking rouge is just over the bridge and pretty safe, however on arrival you will need to make sure your mate parks the car and then jumps into one of the others so that he gets a re entry ticket when he leaves the camp site to collect his stuff as he will have trouble getting into the site without one. We usually have a few extra people who arrive by train/bus and try to obtain extra passes before they arrive by various means.

Thanks all.

The car park just across the bridge may be he best bet then... I'll see if he is comfortable with that

I always use the Garage Vert - its on the Bugatti circuit, easy access to the circuit (by the Dunlop bridge) if you can climb the many steps.

22 years parking there with no problems. Several years in a GT3RS.

Order the ticket early as its very popular and sells out.

Thanks for that. Brian mentioned that car park today when speaking to him.. But I thought it would be a nightmare to find? It took us about 3 hours going round in circles in solid traffic to find entrance to tetra rouge last year.

It's a great car park as access is from the Mulsanne, so you avoid the traffic near the main entrance.

For Tertre rouge and red car parking the best way to get there is always to ignore all signs except for those to the carrefore supermarket, once you find that the road (old ni38) takes you directly to the track, turn right just before the track for the car park or go straight on and then the entry for TR camping is under the bridge and turn right. Just remember to only follow the real signs and not those put up for visitors which send you all over the place.

No you need to go past the entrance to Tertre Rouge on the right after ring road bridge then turn left at the next roundabout as if you're going to join the slip road of ring road but then immediately take the small right turn round the back of the Stella Bar then right at the bottom of the hill with the bar still on your right which will take you under the Mulsanne straight, follow that lane, straight over the next little roundabout then the entrance to Garage Vert Parking is on your right. Security will be standing at the gate. smile

To get back to Tertre Rouge camping on foot you need to either cross the dunlop bridge and turn right or diagonally right to get to one of the camping entrance gates or walk the opposite way when leaving car park and under the pedestrian underpass just before Tertre Rouge then turn left and walk up hill to camping gate which will be on right at very top of hill. wink
