Anyone fancy meeting up at Toddington Services on the way down........
I'd be up for a convoy if you'll be ready to leave Toddington at approx 07:30 (red Lotus Esprit)Will you be driving a R21T?
I had a 1989 red one 20 years ago, tuned by BBR and it was one of my favorite cars

I'll be in my Blue Audi RS6....
R21T is off the road at the moment having a more powerful engine fitted....
Without reading through every page of this thread, could someone tell me what time one should get there for please?
I'm on the list at the moment, but well into the reserves. Does that mean I can't come unless I make the main list before Sunday?
If I can still come, where do you go/park, and what time should I get there for?
Was hoping to bring another Porsche friend along, but he's not even a member on here, so where would he get stopped and where could he go/park?
Any advice would be great, thanks chaps.

Start time is usually 8.30.I'm on the list at the moment, but well into the reserves. Does that mean I can't come unless I make the main list before Sunday?

You need to be out of the reserves to attend.
It is usually well signed where to head and park. Follow the stream of nice metal.
Your friend will need to be on the list as well, if he wants to park in the PH car park.

Do I need to sign up even if I don't want to show off my car?
Yes. All attendees need to sign up on the calendar.

Can I ask for clarification about this? I had been planning to go to MB World anyway to check out the Sauber C9, and then I saw that this event was running so I decided to go on the Sunday instead of the Saturday.Yes. All attendees need to sign up on the calendar.

Am I right in thinking that, even if I just turn up to the public car park and check out MB World as planned, I'd be turned away from the PH area if I wanted to just wander about and take a few photos?

I am planning on seeing the aircraft museum and have booked lunch in The Gullwing Bistro too (will keep the other half happy). Are we able to just stay parked up in the same place that we start the day in or will we have to move? Doubt I will stay past 1-2pm.
Any ideas on this one? I assume we can wander off as the day goes on.SimonC6R said:

You'll be able to walk around without problem.Am I right in thinking that, even if I just turn up to the public car park and check out MB World as planned, I'd be turned away from the PH area if I wanted to just wander about and take a few photos?
It's only the parking in the Piston Heads area which is policed.
As has already been said above, there is a normal public car park (which I've never been to yet).
I'm hoping to get on the reserves list so I can park my car in the Piston Heads area, if not I'll just park it in the normal car park.
