Here's some more from me this time of the track action. Tried to get a picture of every car however I am still learning to use my camera so if I have missed your car out its probably because it came out blurry frown

You are very modest, love some of the angles you have in the paddock shots, great stuff. You have a few of my blue Griff on track as well, thank you very much! biggrin

Looks like you caught the exact moment the Fiesta popped out of first!

Finally at least one pic of it, even if it is me failing badly lol

Great choice of venue, and glad to see a PH crowd there rather than the typical Santa Pod showing!

Some great cars out on strip, the Zafira and Focus sleepers were epic to watch. I think the driver in the Honda Accord Type R might need to work on his clutch control though smile

I shot a little VLOG of the Sunday Service for my very very new YouTube channel. My first visit to an SS and really enjoyed it. The diversity of vehicles on show was very cool. Anyway here's the video, hope you enjoy and much love to any and all who subscribe!

Many thanks to all for this SS.
Best venue, makes Silverstone look boring.

You clearly weren't on track.

Silverstone was fantastic (if you weren't in the early icy / defender sessions)

Always a bit slow with the photos, here's a few of mine (more in the album if you click). No track action as only had a short lens fitted, and too busy taking part.

Brilliant day, made better by the Gallardo Performante and C63 coupe who randomly joined us (DC5 & R32 GTR) on the convoy back and provided some loud entertainment.

Must have missed this.

Enjoyable drive back biggrin

My mate in the C63 has some photos of your cars, I'll post them when he sends them to me.

Suprised to see no TTRS's there or C7 RS6's.... the talk that S3 has made...

VAG's have always been king of dragstrips.

TTRS with a tune will be low 11's and the 2 ton RS6 with a tune will consistantly get 10.5s 1/4's comically quick

There plenty enough repmobiles on steroids without more, would have been nice to see a hypercar or two for comparison.

Indeed. Nothing boring about trying to keep the car pointing in the right direction in the early sessions that day.

V8RX7, you are correct. In fact, I didn't even go to the last Silverstone SS, but have been to around three previous ones there.
When I said "look boring" I meant it literally i.e. from a spectator's point of view.
Was that your white RX7 parked near the café & shops?

I'll admit that with the drag strip it's easy to see all the action and it was interesting to see how the different cars performed.

No mine's black - I was driving my mate's Boxster Spyder

I enjoyed the drag racing a lot more than I thought I would. Especially whooping the Mustang's ass hehe

Definitely need more practice though at getting off the line cleanly
