I'll be there in my blue VX220 (in the plebs' car park). Always enjoy Wilton Wake-up. See you in a few hours.

Cheers notax. Ended-up going 'direct' to Wilton from the north. Great turnout today. The Dodge Viper-engined bike was just nuts...

Good to meet you, wca. I was the Scottish chap asking about the Tribute kit for a mate's MX5. It's certainly a stand-out car that you have.

As expected a delightful event in a lovely setting with an interesting 7 wide selection of motors.
Just a shame that somebody decided to tastelessly turn a McLaren into a Chavs wet dream.

I saw this last minute and as I live just up the road decided to wash the car and just rocked up. What a great little event.

You might be surprised to learn that that's an official McLaren Special Operations limited edition 650S CAN-AM

http://cars.mclaren.com/650s-can-am

50 made in total and only 8 in the UK I'm told.

If you think it was nuts stationary, what about doing 207mph on it?

Declared fastest production bike by MCN no less!

If an 8L V10 bike's not your thing, what about another of Allen Millyard's creations. This time only 5L and a V twin called the Flying Millyard.

It won best in class at Salon Prive for most OTT bike - there's a surprise!

Enjoyable trip out this morning with the sun shining down and a good mix of cars and bikes inside and outside of the courtyard.

I've been coming to Wilton Wake Up's since the beginning & out of all of the one's i've been to? This one is possibly the best i've ever attended!

I got there around 7:30am & had a feeling something special was about to happen. And it did! The verity of cars was good & i loved the organisation of where to put them too.

Even the bikes made a nice display too, including a very awesome & loud Viper V10 engined one! Thing's got really good the moment an F40 came & parked up leaving a space for something equally special. And Italian. And sure enough, a LaFerrari came & then i proceeded to help the marshells park it in that space right in front of the F40 creating one hell of a spectral, decent photo opportunity & space to admire two of Ferrari's finest ever cars.

When that was settled i had time to walk round again & admire what special cars had turned up. A lot of them!

Of course i took photo evidence. Lots of them!

Nice pics, you appear to have captured every single car apart from mine biggrin My own fault for getting there quite late.

Thanks for clarifying, I made the same mistake as the previous poster! I like most MSO work, but this one certainly isn't for me...

This was my highlight of the day, against the odds! The bike apparently weighs nearly 700kg and only has one gear as there was no room to fit a gearbox. It will go from 0-225mph in top gear. Apparently its 0-60 time is poor, but by 100mph it equals the fastest production superbike and from then onwards destroys everything. Virtually everything was custom mage by the rider/owner including the frame and even forks. A truly amazing beastie smile

Always love the Wilton wake ups and this one was as good as ever. Hope they don't get too much more popular though!? - nice manageable size at the moment.

I was in a convoy down following that crazy v10 bike. The noise is something else!

Paul.
