The gates open at 8am so does this place fill up quickly if your taking a car in? I was going to head there for about 9.
Nine is fine, it's the lunchtime folks who look all fallen as they find no place to park.Ed
What a great day today so much exotica. God knows how much value there was in cars today.
Did anyone see the lambo crash on the mb course? It looked a little expensive as the rear wheel was in a funny position.
Never been to auto Italia before or actual Brooklands but was brilliant. Would highly recommend going.

I think quite a few saw the lambo crash
Unsurprisingly there's at least one clip up on youtube already ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWC_cUJF5F0
Bit stupid to give it the beans there really unless you're really good with handling the car - the outer ring often is a bit damp from spray from the skid circle and you're not far from the barriers! I've seen a Countach lose it near the same place at a previous Auto Italia (although the Countach driver was just a little impatient and didn't wait until the car was settled straight, on a moist track, and just ended up in the gravel on the right).

Seeing it again, he does hit the barrier quite hard. He must have felt sick when that started to head towards the barrier. I'm guessing insurance would be invalid? Although probably a moot point as they probably can afford to get it repaired anyway!Unsurprisingly there's at least one clip up on youtube already ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWC_cUJF5F0
