The Supercar Siege 2016 - The Big One - Brands Hatch - 19th June
Hello all,

Off the back of our successful Blancpain Weekend at Brands Hatch we are putting together another charity show on the 19th of June also taking place at Brands Hatch. We know this is the Le Mans weekend but hope that for those not travelling down to it this will be a nice alternative.

For those of you who have attended our shows over the last 4 years you will know that we raise money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Children's Fund.

This year we aim to display 300 supercars as well as having the Sporting Bears back giving passenger rides both on the road and around the iconic circuit.

Tickets will be £15 which covers the car and driver only.

We will be arranging convoys from Cobham, Clackett Lane and the South Mimms services.

All we ask of drivers is that you arrive by 9am and do not depart until 16:00hrs.

If you are interested then please add you name and car details to the list below:

Mike, you sent an email at 20:30 on Friday, and another on Saturday and then another on Sunday. Just back in the office after a weekend away to find your emails.

I will send you details now.

Legend.

Please don't take my inpatients the wrong way, I'm just keen to attend. I've been offered a space on another stand but in truth would like to attend with Members of SELOC.

Thanks for your reply and I look forward to hearing from you.

Will there be anything to do/see on the day or will it simply be a large car park?

The event was epic when held at Leeds Castle but I'm not sure what the incentive to display at Brands Hatch is. Am I missing something?

If you haven't been to a Supercar Siege event you don't know what you're missing.

The recent move to Brands Hatch is the logical location for a car show/event. Interesting vehicles to see parked up, interesting vehicles to see and hear on the track and also with the alignment with Sporting Bears also the possibility to be taken round the track in something rather sporty.

Did I forget to mention that by showing your car you're also benefitting the charity that Supercar Siege support. To display your vehicle we are asking for a small £15 donation which will help cover the cost of the ticket plus a small percentage going to the charity.

Sunday 19th June.

Show your interest by emailing clubs@supercarsiege.co.uk with your car / reg / name and also include that it's from the Pistonheads forum as it makes our life easier in the background tracking you down if there are any issues.

Go on, you know you want to.

So we are slowly gathering momentum at the moment.

We have some great cars already signed up and have some amazing things laid on for the day.

The very rare Toyota 2000GT will be on display courtesy of JHW Classics.

The line up on the day should keep most of those displaying their cars busy:

  • Time Attack - Heavily modified production cars vs the clock out on track
  • Retro Time Attack - Pre 1990 production cars race for the fastest lap in their class.
  • Rally Passenger Rides - GT86 Rally stage for that adrenaline filled hot lap.
  • Drift demonstrations - Some amazing smoke and sideways action out on track.
  • Public Track Time - The chance to take your own car out on circuit.
  • Show & Shine - Best in show and show & shine competitions.
  • Caterham Drift Experience - Go sideways in these fun smile generators.
  • Fun Fair - for children of all ages
  • Trade stands - Selling things you always needed but didn't know until now.
We have confirmed that the Ferrari F40 will be part of the Sporting Bears line up and giving a limited number of passenger rides on the day.

We are hoping to get a varied lineup from PistonHeads as per our previous outings.

Any questions please feel free to contact us at: Clubs@supercarsiege.co.uk

What's involved in getting your car on the track? I am around, and have a C63 going spare if that qualifies.
