James, can I suggest you give the event a 'refresh' on the front page to raise further awareness to it and include some of the additional things that Skoda will be laying on for us that you've mentioned in the email to those attending?

See you on Sunday & will you be bringing some PH umbrellas that we can buy to keep the sun off our smiley faces as I haven't managed to track one down from you guys yet?!! PS what's the current office favourite, biscuits or Haribos?

Added...more people attending hopefully means more 'treats' for the PH office

I love attending SS but this event was posted at way too short notice for me to make it.

I've been stalking the SS post with the calendar dates and then whoaar ! this one appears.

Just not enough notice, I'm sure it's the same for a lot of people.

I really do appreciate the hard work that goes in to arranging these events though....

I agree! As it happens the posh "event calendar" had not been updated on the forum post, despite the artwork having been done. Saying that, until a year ago we only ever gave 1.5 weeks notice for SS events, so it is only a more recent development that we've given more notice.

None the less, we'll keep working hard to make the events as streamlined as possible - and for those of you that are coming this weekend, you're in for a great time!

Thoyght this would be more popular, looks the like me and other 160 or so are going to have to eat a Lot of free ice cream if Skoda are planning for 500.😉

Just a reminder, if any of you have added yourself to the list since Friday lunchtime I'll need to forward you the joining instructions and windscreen badge (which you will need to gain access as the event is taking place inside an old air base and as such has a security check point at the outer gate... Who will be looking for the smiley badge!)

Ive also had to withdraw too sadly!

Having just woken up from a very late and heavy drinking BBQ birthday party last night, I'm in no fit state to drive my Caterham to Bicester!

Again sorry for the short notice, but I suspect I would still be over the limit, so better safe than sorry, plus I don't feel to clever at all!
