Much better pictures than the photographer on the Saturday that wanted £20 a photo!

Carbon intake, cams, quaife LSD etc etc.
It was bloody quick - how much does it weigh?

No worries Danny, I could see you coming and was out of the way. All seemed OK to me. Great to see the hot hatches going so well.

Thanks to PH for organising, had a great time on track, was my first time on a circuit and once I got my head around it and got my bearings it was ace.

Sorry to anyone if I held them up, tried to get out of the way as best I could. Spent a lot of the 2nd session hassling the Sagaris Targa which was entertaining!

I need some new brake pads, they have escaped onto my wheels!

Sorry all the dust after Redgate was me (red Mk 2 Golf) - hairy sideways moment on the dirt. Luckily I managed to get the old girl back on track. I found that corner really tricky!
I got you on video!

If one has a video of the blue dc5 on the 4pm session please let me know, would love to hear how it sounded going down the straight.

Apologies if I held anyone up, my first time on a big track.

It sounded good from immediately behind. In fact when I got into the top of my rev-band while behind you it created some really weird resonance effects, never heard anything like it.

As mentioned earlier, Chris' photos from yesterday are awesome! If you haven't already, have a look.

Great big thanks to James & Ben for tickets and 2x tracktime.

Was flying in the 2nd session, 4.40pm, car is ready for new pads now lol.

Good to see people and have a blast.

Not sure if that was my rattly heatsheid echoing or just something to do with how loud the car is laugh

Not entirely sure to be honest.

About 950-980KG?

I got a short video - Again it's crap and you're at the end of the video.

It's a hundred mb, so I'll upload it via WeTransfer, and you can have a listen.
I was stood at the main pits seating area.

I was really overwhelmed at how quick it was! 200bhp per tonne will probably do that!

Thank you, bit scary, I thought I was going to bin the old girl (red Mk 2 Golf) in the gravel. Chap in the Leon and his passenger said that she was flaming quite a bit under braking. Had no idea that was going on. If anyone has any photos or video would love to see what's going on out the back.

There was a lot of smoke out your pipe mate, didn't see any fire! I'll have it all on video, will be going through it all tonight.

For the second session I was watching from the grandstand, on the brakes going into the first corner you had such a big flame everyone noticed it, it was a massive flame atleast a few metres.

At least it wasn't blue smoke! It's quite fuelly at the top of the rev range so that's why it's smokey on the over-run, didn't realised that it flamed though. Very noisy on way home so exhaust packing probably blown out. This may have contributed to want was coming out the back!

Yes so's mine - it was going off the AFR gauge on boost (which reads to 11:1)

I must have loosened a wheel on track and heard it wobbling around 2 miles from Donington - whilst I waited for the RAC (wheel wrench was the correct size but too thick walled) I looked at my settings and saw the ignition was massively retarded too... so just that and the cutting out to sort.
