Anybody attend the last one? what's it like?

Trying to gauge what actually goes on. The delightful pictures on the website and in octane reflect the private members day on friday. what does joe public get to see and do for £40?

I went to the Hampton Court one 2 years ago, went in at the reduced price at a later time.

Saw some amazing cars that you're unlikely to see anywhere else.

Went last year to Holyrood event, it's absolutely Quality over quantity. You could walk round and see everything in half an hour or actually have a proper look at the cars and be there for hours. Also was quiet enough that you could get great photos.

That's a great description. I didn't go to Holyrood but did go to Windsor in 2012 (my car event of the year - helped by one of those rare perfect summer's days with beautiful sunshine but not sapping humidity), St James and Hampton Court. You go to see cars you might otherwise have to spend years travelling to different countries to be lucky enough to see and also to see them with a wonderful backdrop.

That's it, a lot of the cars you just won't see again. I wouldn't hesitate to go if your within reasonable traveling distance.
Few photos I know you'll apreciate.

Lewis.

The Goodwood car park will be quite impressive a week later, but to see some very special cars properly prepared... think i'll pop along!

I went to the first one at Windsor. It was a nice day and I spent some time chatting to Derek Bell and the chap who is Superman at the moment.
We will be attending again this year with the TVRCC

I am planning to go on Sat with the Ferrari Owners Club. We are required to park up by 9:00am. It looks like you cannot move unto 5:30pm which is a bit of a worry.
The info pack says ID required, "airport style" security, no liquids... I hope it does not feel like we are imprisoned in the pace for over 8 hours.
