It would appear that almost the two most valuable cars at the show are practically the only ones with owners that use them !
Hats off to Gavin & Andy (both of whom are on PH too I believe)
The most valuable car at the show by a long chalk was the Alfa Romeo 8C and I am pleased to say that, having been with the same owner for more than 40 years, that is used at least as much as pretty much any other car in the show.Hats off to Gavin & Andy (both of whom are on PH too I believe)
For me the best thing is that the two most used cars at the event were vintage Bentleys. When we asked Stanley Mann for the transporter details for the 'Blower' on the supercars display they said: 'Don't be silly, we'll drive it', and when we asked them if they wanted it valeted and detailed they said: 'No thanks, we have a very rigorous valeting regime already in place – every two years we throw a bucket of water over it.'
Thanks to all the PHers for coming along to the show. It was a pleasure to give you the tickets and a thrill to see all your cars in the Pavilion Car Park.
Please leave the fog at home though next year. Thanks.
A brilliant Sunday, great to see the PH team again as well as the other Sunday Service goers, met some lovely new people and having a catch up with others.
As always, lovely metal on display in the car park, and it was my first time at Alexandra Palace, so it made the day even more special - the C&SC show was brilliant, so thank you to all that arranged this

Excellent show. Not too big, not too small, good trade stands and a nice wander about for a Sunday morning.
The Arthur Bechtel Mercedes' were my stars of the show. Absolutely stunning rebuilds of gorgeous 50's Mercs. Beautiful.
Nice to get my M3 and Dad's M5 out for a (foggy) drive down from Cambridge too.
Thanks P'Heads, Sunday Service is becoming one of our regular events now, good people, good organisation, good events.
