We are heading to Tetra Rouge campsite a day earlier this year to try and secure a reasonable pitch.

I seem to recall that if you land before a certain day you use a different entrance? Both times i have been we have had to drive in through near the top of mulsane and navigate through the pedestrians.. we normally land late Thursday afternoon. This year we should be landing late morning Wednesday, will this mean a different entrance?

It was a complete nightmare first time we went as it took us a couple of hours back and forth looking for entrance which had no signs on it and was hidden behind a bridge rolleyes

We are in the TL site opposite you inside the Tertre Rouge bend.
The public sites officially opens Wednesday morning, so the entrance on the East end that you came in last year, will be the same this year. I am not sure you can gain access at all on the Tuesday although some sites allow it. Also don't know if there is another entrance to Tertre Rouge. Someone will be along soon to tell you otherwise.

After some more searching somewhere has said if you arrive before Wednesday afternoon you need to use main entrance of track?

Also second question, whats the chances of getting a electric feed landing wednesday morning? was looking at buying a silent generator for the trip but seems a little excessive ....

A bit out of date perhaps but that says Sunday except Arnage and Mulsanne.

For the last couple of years the Tertre rouge corner gate has been open from Sunday, before that it opened on Wednesday morning, the site opens Sunday. (TeRtrE, TeRtrE TeRtrE BTW)

TR is open from Sunday but sometimes the facilities are not sorted at that time but will be there monday. The entry before Wednesday is via the main entry/museum, just go through and turn left up to the campsite entry. Electricity by Wednesday will not be direct but as long as you have plenty of connectors and cable you will be OK. People arrive earlier each year but you will have plenty of choice if you get there Wednesday morning but by 2 or 3 you will need to pick carefully. A large green area might look ideal but beware that usually means it can flood if rain is heavy( if you have been before you will be aware of that). Oh yes and beware of camping to close to the facilities, the fence sometimes looks ideal overlooking the track but in reality when there are people 15 deep the other side you can't see anything and can be very noisy. Also beware of the pine trees if it gets hot they drip sap and it is almost impossible to get the stuff off tents or even cars. We will be there either sunday or tuesday
