The entry requirement of 250 was due to the limited spaces.

I'm not of the "little village" mentality - far from it. I just find it frustrating to have to sign up for something, turn up (despite something else coming up) as I've signed up to find a poorly organised free for all.

If you don't have to sign up as you can blag it, then guess what people will do in future?
Maybe.

As another poster mentioned above I noticed the parkint of some cars was awful lol.

I still enjoyed the morning out smile

Big thank you to Prodrive and Pistonheads for a great first Sunday Service for 2017. Great start to wonder round Prodrive and see the cars, great to see Colin McRae car.

A big thank you to the team from Prodrive for taking time out of their weekend to let us mooch around their impressive facility & of course to the PH team for organising it.

In response to the comment about queuing to get in, it's the same as some of the other PHSS in that it isn't a multiple entrance facility & hence unless you don't stop everyone on the way in, even with speedy parking, a queue will form if everyone arrives at the same time. Also, there must have been quite a few empty passenger seats - in the spirit of PH we had a couple who couldn't make the list who followed us down in convoy to Banbury & hopped into 2 empty seats & in doing so we maximised the PH experience as otherwise they'd not have come along.

I was amazed to see some of the parking was questionable I.e. Cars taking double spaces....we're a forum of enthusiasts & hopefully everyone respects each other's cars when it comestibles parking & getting in/out of them.
The Prodrive guys were great, but I've done a lot of SS. There was sufficient parking, so why direct me (and several others!) to an area where there was no parking? 3 parking zones.... not difficult to alternate where you send traffic!

I suggest you feed this back directly to the PH team as it appears slightly ungrateful to criticise the kind hosts (I appreciate its a forum btw).

Big thanks to PH and Prodrive for this morning, lots of friendly, informative staff on hand to explain any

aspect of their particular corner of the facility.

Can't believe there's always some who can complain about a free day organised by people giving up their free time for others.

Really suggest we stick to comments about enjoying the day, and send PH any comments direct.

Absolutely brilliant SS PistonHeads! Really interesting and informative. Thank you for organising the weather too.

See you at Silverstone for a dry trackday.

Awesome morning. Thanks to PH and Prodrive, they did an outstanding job and very kind of them to open up the amount they did.

Who owns the white 370z? Be interested to know your suspension/spacer set up please smile. Looked lovely.

Incredible to see inside Prodrive. Highly informative regarding how much they actually do outside of rallying/racing.

I hit the traffic coming in but expected it as 250 cars going to one place will cause jams. Not a lot the PH guys can do about that if there is one way in.

Superb morning a big thankyou to those at Prodrive and at PH for arranging the morning. I didn't mind the line of cars entering as it was an excuse to grab a costa and stretch my legs.

Some great cars on display both inside and out, although I would echo what I put in the general SS forum which is I believe the events shouldn't go live on Facebook. The events fill up quick enough with genuine members without it getting clogged up with users who purely register based on seeing Facebook. That said there were a few individuals on Facebook who had no intention of registering as was witnessed by another member.

So PH keep up the goodwork and ditch the Facebook events listings.

A great SS and very interesting to see what Prodrive do other than race car prep. Another thanks from me to the PH and Prodrive crew for working a Sunday for us to enjoy these things.

My morning was only marred by a gentleman driving an Aston who I loudly heard declaring these things should be vetted to "Keep peoples s**tboxes out", I assume aimed at the black Seat Ibiza with rusty arches parked near where he was talking. The guy in the "s**tbox" was actually in the queue in front of me and seemed super excited to be there and take snaps of exotic cars. I'd rather spend a morning with 50 people like him than one person who looks down at others because they can't afford an expensive car.

Wouldn't happen to be the same gentleman that nearly stacked his Aston into a kerb coming out of pro drive?

But great event. Really enjoyed it! 😁

Looking forward to Silverstone now!

Neither of those above Astons were me! (Ceramic grey V12S)

Think I saw a silver V12 and a V8 N430 there too.

Pretty unfair comment about someone else's car frown

Thanks PH team and Prodrive. Particular thanks for the PH guy who handed my 3 yr old some PH stickers. My Cayman is now adorned with about 20 PH smilies on the inside! Good morning out and lots of variety. Personal favourite amongst the exotica was the bright red RX-7. Had forgotten what a neat and coherent design that car was/is.
