I'm well happy to match the T350... but where is Hobo in his T350?

I know he wasn't on the list as he was paid up from last time but surely they must have him down as "Red TVR wotsit" or something.

good work Graham.
No worries, interesting to see the differences in speeds, seems most of the turbo'd cars had increases in vmax's whilst most of the n/a cars were pretty consistent.

Down to the weather perhaps?

Mod, I think it's possible they've mistaken you for Daz, you were 22, he was 23 & you are next to each other in the list.

Muncher, pls amend! Cheers dude.

There should be less pesky 911's at the next one?

That Porsche have to resort to turbochargers to get half decent power and performance?

A lot of people with no imagination?

The SL had PMT....

Everyone slowed done as we felt sorry for the ugliness of 911s

errr, or the 911 is a bit good and you really can't go wrong buying one as they really deliver {aaaaaaargghhh!}

Well, that is one opinion, but I happen to know of a GT3 variant with a 3.9 engine and 450 bhp - not bad for no turbo. I have no idea what the top speed is, it won't be geared for highest possible max speed.
It would have been interesting to see some more (enhanced) GT3's at VMAX.
I've not yet seen a turbo car (Porsche or otherwise) that excites me - but that's a personal thing.

Indeed, its doesn't half shift.

With regards the GT3, didn't think they could be tuned a huge amount more. DMS say only another 20 bhp.

Same here when i was in MOD's - the focused stare into yonder, white knuckles on the steering wheel - and we hadn't even been waved off at this point! Then Martyn says "You've really got to be prepared, because of the torque" Righto, Craig gives the nod and FACKINHELLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
Yep, been there too. Martyn is a paramount Porsche pedaller.

Had a test drive in a 911T nearly ten years ago - the car's still there in the garage as I type, and I can't imagine parting with it. Slightly different now and sweeter for it. Mind you, a pulled header stud needs fixing after a recent road blat Then again I can't remember the last time it needed the car doc for anything much.

Blown pork...awesome, invincible, unassailable, magnificent, scary - but oh so nice

Craig,

There are a couple of results that have been mentioned that look unusual.

As Martyn said, I think his 181mph looks high, I would be amazed if a 993 bodied car with 450bhp would have beaten a 996TT with 100bhp more (the DMS car).

Also as Adam said I don't think the Red RTurbo got into the 190's. The CTR is much faster than the RTurbo, so I doubt there's only 3mph in it.

Fastest I saw on the boards was 157mph - not bad for 3.0 N/A rice rocket! I think the MX5T pulled 134mph when I passengered in it...
