In other news, here's an in car video featuring no roundabouts or badly driven vehicles. Some great cars out there and IMHO some very good driving - more than a few cars were understandably struggling with sub-optimal tyre choice for the cold, wet conditions.

Nice vid and good to chat with you after the session Hope to see you at another meet in the year, btw i have a Sanatcruz Tallboy carbon and a couple of classic K2 proflex as well, so we can talk bike bits next time! The turbo is so bonkers in a straight line, looks like everyone else is parked up!https://youtu.be/ad2rForYHD0
The car is not standard, but had benefited from being sorted out by Sports & Classic, with help from Wayne at Chip Wizzards, so it's now 502bhp. (I'd bought it as 'original' but unbeknownst to me, it'd got a crap re-map that let it rev into range 2).
Your 964 was taking some catching! Going really well. Shame about the red flag.

Anyone have some footage of the 11.55 session? My GoPro attempt turned out to just be a nice clear view of the cabin!
Which car were you in? I was in that session.I am aware my car is quite quick in a straight line so did lift a few times on the straights to let people through who had better tyres/toys (talent?) to get them through the corners.

I was also in the 11:55 session and not found anything yet (other than the professional photos). I was in the Yellow G33 tiptoeing around corners with under and over steer. I made one mistake (that I was aware of) and have apologised for that earlier in the thread. Some cars/drivers were "interesting" "novices"! I just assumed they'd been shuffled back from earlier or bought a cheap session of a "it's too wet" ph'er and let it go and on the whole (there was one who passed me on the inside of Woodcote which I didn't appreciate after the Civic Type R incident! I was very wary of that corner!) I thought we all coexisted very well.

I have some brief gopro footage of overtaking you (I was in silver MR2). How do I send this to you?I am aware my car is quite quick in a straight line so did lift a few times on the straights to let people through who had better tyres/toys (talent?) to get them through the corners.

However I think my internet is terrible as I am never able to upload youtube videos longer than 10min... Plus I captured most (if not all) of the offenders mention in previous posts, so maybe I shouldn't upload that so as to avoid getting into any heated discussions :-)
BTW I thought your driving was of the highest standards, so thanks! That G33 looked beautiful.

Oh yes! I remember letting you past to give me some track space to play on Thanks in advance for the vid

I fear that may have possibly been me(?) as I think I did it to someone at one point although I can't remember which car it was. Apologies if so, momentary lapse!

It's hard to see from the video, but some of the cars were having horrendous understeer through Copse. And more than a few were experiencing oversteer in Woodcote - perhaps voluntarily in the case of the M3.
LOL @ you laughing at me drifting @ 4min36
It was great to meet you, hope to see you at other PH gatherings.

Guess you would disagree? Haha
I would disagree for sure! Tinkering on the edge of understeer and oversteer on every corner, pushed myself with them but not near what the car can do in the dry. Guess you would disagree? Haha

What's your tread depth out of interest? I was on decent Pirellis albeit with only 4mm on each corner, and even with 4WD I was slipping all over the place!j4ck100 said:

Fronts are about 5mm and rears are 3mm, rears won't have liked it! Has made me consider a spare set of wheels with all weather tyres on for those exact conditions! Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
