A few errors in there. I'm going to cut down a highlights video tomorrow.
Had a big twitch @10:20 and @11:30 in the video as soon as there was no one around me.

I was following you for quite a while at the start of the session (grey 996), I thought you were doing damn well considering the monsoon conditions and rear wheel drive - good effort.

Another great day i thought, much rain but it didnt matter. Great track action and lots of lovely cars on show. Well done everyone who turned up,

My pics from the day, not many but i got a few - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.16648816...
The Honda Civic doesn't look quite as bad as I expected. I was at the pit wall at point of contact and it sounded a lot worse than that.

Is it fixable?

Had a GoPro running inside my car for almost all of the 10.45 session (ran out of memory with 5 minutes or so to go) which ive just dumped the whole lot on youtube: https://youtu.be/57qRWco-fzE

Pretty much everyone in the 10.45 session should be on there as I'm sure you all overtook me, apologies for the choice language at a couple of points, didnt realise I had such a potty mouth until hearing it back paperbag
That's me in the grey 996c4s that passed you at 17min - nice to see my lines from your camera for short while, thanks! It certainly was slippy out there, I did the 0935 session in torrential rain too but the 1045 wasn't much easier. Nice of your passenger to suggest following my line, it was certainly a day for 4WD. You seem to turn in slightly too early sometimes, I do that all the time too smile
I was trying to keep up with you in my little MR2 towards the end of the session. Here's my gopro footage. https://youtu.be/gfciQQxeRrc

I was driving the blue Clio 200 R.S. on the 11:20 session and again at 11:55. Good to speak to the chap driving the 535 estate and the Z4M driver. Had a lot of fun, and got a clip of the mx5 spinning in front of me. wink
I was behind you for a while (1/2 cars back) on the 11.55 session - you were next on my hit list but I could never catch you up fully! Some very decent driving. Any mods on the Clio? You took off on some of the straights!

Thanks Boredtea, long list of modifications, has a megane R26 engine and gearbox fitted and is running 301bhp. What where you driving?

Having been out passenger in the 9.35 session in the monsoon, was really lucky to have booked the 11.55 to drive. Still slippy but nice to have a dry line towards the end and be able to lean on the tyres a bit rather than just tip toe around. Was still getting traction control light flickering at 110mph tho which is pretty scary!!
What car were you in?

That makes a lot of sense! I was in a grey Megane RS250 (running 300bhp) and couldn't make any ground on you in the straights, so that's a relief to hear!

Was on nankang ultra sport 2's run fronts at 31psi, then rears at 26psi. Rears are few hundred miles old (one got a drill bit through sidewall couple week back so had to replace frown ) then fronts have around 5mm of tread.

Again want to say thank you to ph team.

Weather was a real challenge, dry weather track tyres and zero aids (even using open boot for extra downforce..... Ahem) 40mph through woodcote was an achievement! All good fun though keeping right out of the way was a full time job lol.
That was me who shut it for you in the pits on your "drive through"....
Many thanks, I'd say Mercedes F1 pit crew smooth!
Though I should have asked to change onto full wet tyres as well. Lol.

Link to 2nd part of 11.55 session. The first part was interrupted as my passenger felt sick and I had to go back to the pits :-)
Apologies for the slowness on some corners as my tyres were well past their best. Hope I didn't hold anyone up to much.
