Just been called back, now booked on 10:10 session. Could theoretically have booked more than one session, but it seemed more than a little selfish, given the demand.

Is 500 the limit? Or is that on 'stand' and other people can just turn up and wonder around? Don't want to get on track, but would be good to see some shiny toys!

500 is the limit to get in. If you're not within the 500 don't turn up.

Is that why the stands are so quiet at the F1, Silverstone only has 500 spaces?

Surely they could have a visitor parking, like every other car show I've been to, and let people wonder about.

The carpark used for the SS is where the support trucks etc park for races when the National circuit is in use. It's not the area used by spectators, and smaller than the equivalent carpark for the F1 paddock. There is lots more space around the Silverstone venue, but I think it wound a bit cheeky asking them to open up more than they already have for a free event.

Last year they opened up more as over 200 cars on the list may well be in the paddock.
