Official VMAX VIII Speedtable

How many people actually reach their true vmax, i.e. run out of revs in top gear? I suspect there's not many who do.


I'm trying to find out my vmax at the minute but I don't think I am far off it at all.

Not me. My 143 was just below the rev limiter in 5th so had a nother gear to go.

Unfortunately due the amount of downforce created at that speed it was accelarating very slowly by then so I would need a lot more room to get it up to its proper max which would be about 150

Top end speed isnt what my car is designed for though.

Nasty Jew = Ben Gallardo = I got 181 MPH...

We saw 181 on the handwritten sheet and on the timmer...

+ is it easy to get hold of the photo guy ?..track demon ? i've sent him 2 x emails but no response...

Yeah I took it out and got 168. I still think its stonking at 169-170. PhatGixer's got 164 last time, but the beams were a little further forward IIRC.
