Looks like I’ve paid the £5 pounds for no reason as I’m reluctant to travel a 3hour journey each way and can’t get to do the factory tour, should have checked that first.
Weird that the article says room for 300, recommends factory tour, and they are all sold out with much smaller number on the attendee list. Trust my "fiver" goes to a good cause --- not worth travel time. First time I've tried a Pistonhead event.
The car park for Sunday Service used to sell out on the day the event was announced, and you'd have to go on the waiting list. The landscape has changed since then and there are more places like the Motorist, Caffeine & Machine (x2) and Gasoline Juice etc where petrolheads can meet and admire each other cars. That might be why numbers are down these days.

Having checked my emails, I can't see anywhere a time for the factory tour, just 'from 9.00'
Do we (friend and I) need to be there for 9, or is some point during the morning fine, or have we an allocated time slot? Wouldn't want to arrive having missed it.
I can't really help you here I'm afraid, I think you'd best contact Morgan directly to double check on that one. That sounds to me like you're on the 09:00 tour though!Do we (friend and I) need to be there for 9, or is some point during the morning fine, or have we an allocated time slot? The experience centre will still be open with their museum and showroom, along with the usual eclectic mix of cars we get at a Sunday (or Saturday) Service. I'm sure it'll be well worth the trip, depending on how far you were going to travel of course.Ben Lowden said:

I've just taken a call from my friend who has a ticket booked (driving down together) due to attend with me on Saturday. His wife has just called him to say she's going to still be abroad with work on Friday/Sat, and that he'll need to have their 10 year old boy for those days. Morgan have sold out of tickets, I have spoken to them today about our allocation times and they said as much, but I will try speaking to them tomorrow to see if they could anyhow let a car-mad 10 year old join the tour.
If anyone has bought a ticket, who thinks they may not be able to attend etc PLEASE let me know, and we'll buy your place off you.
Without wishing to tug at any heart strings, my friend lost his Dad, and his son his Grandad last week, so I'd prefer them to have the places than I. If needs be he can have my ticket, and I'll just attend for other none factory stuff.
Edit to add, if no one has changed plans. My tour is booked for 9.40, my friends is booked for 9.00 (we should have thought ahead to request the same one) If anyone on the 9.00 one would be able to instead take the 9.40 one also let me know, and therefore you could have my ticket, and his boy have your 9.00 one.
Cheers.

My above ask can now be disregarded. I've called Morgan, they were really good, and I've purchased his boy a ticket. They were even good enough to apply the PH discount, so only paid £8.25 for him
Great news! Swing by the PH merch stand, I'm sure I can sort him out with some stickers too.Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
