I just tried to buy a ticket.
Been told that the allocation is low. If i will buy 3 tickets to the reading knitting convention and a further 12 tickets for the wedding fair in maidenhead my dealer will be able to offer me an allocation but be prepared i may need to pay over the ticket price..................
seems odd but it is Porsche so must be acceptable?

Is there a mechanism for people to remove themselves from the Porsche list and have their ticket reallocated?
I'm lead to believe that tickets will only go to those on the Eventbrite waiting list as and when people cancel on there and ask for a refund..I don't see many people doing that and so don't hold out much hope for Eventbrite filling empty spots.
On a normal PH Sunday Service, you can be 100th in the waiting list and almost guaranteed to get in still.

I've got a ticket from Eventbrite but now can't attend. I'm happy to give the donation to charity, so no refund, but it would be good if someone else can go instead.
I think the only way is to refund and then the space will be allocated by Eventbrite to the waiting list. ecsrobin said:

The refund policy was set to 7 days before the event – I've now changed this to 1 day so you should be able to go into your Eventbrite account and request a refund. This will then make your ticket available to the next person on the waiting list.
Ok, I've done that now. ThanksBen Lowden said:
This event has now sold out. It's worth signing up to the waiting list though if you weren't able to secure a ticket, as you'll get an email if we refund any tickets and you're next in line.
Got my tickets, looking forward to it...what time do things open up/kick off?Looking forward to seeing many of you on Sunday! Just a reminder, unfortunately we're having to be very strict on capacity this weekend due to limited parking and capacity in the dealership, so we'll only be able to let people in with Eventbrite tickets.
Apologies to those that wanted to come but weren't able to get a ticket on time – we'll be back at Thruxton on 3 December for our last Sunday Service of the year with a much larger capacity.

I have a ticket for this, but having had shoulder surgery yesterday and in a sling for 10 days was going to be driven by a mate in his 997. Unfortunately he has just had to cancel.
I’ve looked on Eventbrite to cancel my ticket so it’s offered to the next person on the waiting list, but as it’s now less than 24 hours to go that option has understandably disappeared.
The first person to send me a message with their email address is welcome have my ticket. Don’t need anything for it as it was for charity anyway.
Doubly frustrating (as well as being in a sling) as it looked to be a good morning in store.

Ben,
Many thanks for all the effort you guys put in but I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with Porsche for this one. This was nothing more than a dealership open day as other than parking some of their 'unobtanium' press cars in a huddle, Porsche GB were nowhere to be seen.. On top of all of that, all the dealer cars were locked up and whilst there was a good turnout of Pistonheads Porsches, the limited numbers meant there were very few interesting cars in the car park to look at.
Honestly, I get to see more if I call in on my way to Ikea, than what I saw on Sunday.
Decent sausage & egg butty though and the coffee guys were a good laugh.
