I’m likely to go for this event next year. I was wondering about a few things.
- When do tickets go on sale?
- What do people recommend for camping? I’m thinking about staying close to Spa town.
- Is parking straight forward at the circuit if we were to drive in each day?

Hi,

Tickets - You can buy from the Peter Auto Site. They are the organisers. You can sign up and they will let you know when tickets go on sale.

Camping - There's a circuit campsite very close to the entrance, 100 metres. So no parking issue.
It's not fancy, but has showers and toilets. It's 30 euros, pay on entrance.

- There's another campsite, Eau Rouge Campsite. A few miles away near Stavelot. Camping plus chalets available.

My message is - You don't have to go through an agent if you don't want to.

Parking is easy and very convenient if your car is on their ‘happy few’ list as you can park within the circuit (look on the Peter auto website). Traffic last year was surprisingly light, we drove in and out on both days with no hassle whatsoever.

6 of us rented (through booking.com)a really nice house that was so cheap we discounted camping pretty quick. 10 minute drive from the circuit.

This is great info. The Peter Auto site doesn’t appear to have a page to sign up from to be told about ticket sales.

I’ll take a look at those campsite. When I went to the 24h at Spa many years ago I rented a house so will see what’s available there as well. I didn’t use an agent before so I think this time I’m unlikely to use one as well.

What is the ‘happy few’ list? Is there general circuit parking?

It's the organisers list of car brands they consider to be premium and promotional to their event and they get priority parking in a prominent position.

Eg Goodwood revival - Tax exempt cars park close to the entrance.
Le Mans Classic - In circuit parking on the Bugatti track.

The tickets - My apologies. The official sister site to Peter Auto that sells the tickets is Roadbook.

And the "happy few" - Have the priority parking and also the opportunity to participate in some proper parade laps. Not the UK 30mph version.

Here's a list from a previous event -

Won’t be in a car that can comply with that but will hopefully be able to park at the circuit somewhere with the non special cars.

Perfect. It doesn’t look like it’s on there yet but I’ve signed up for the newsletter. Hopefully they will announce it there.

Watching this as well. Looks like nothing open for bookings yet and event not even listed on the Spa circuit site so far. Looked at the Eau Rouge site but looks a bit of a trek into the track along a road - anyone stayed there and walked in each day? Stayed at LeMans Classic Beausejour site last year which was an ideal walk each day.

Are Roadbook events totally separate classic events from Peter Auto's Spa Classic? (Roadbook has 4 2024 other classic events down on there).

Have booked Camping 35 in Francorchamps village edge & 500m or so from La Source hairpin entrance for WEC 6 hour race - bit more expensive than circuit camping but seems less of an issue for car if wet/snow etc as fairly small site.

Yes, they are separate run by different organisers.

Spa Classic run by Peter Auto.

Spa Summer Classic and Spa 6 Hours run by Roadbook

I'm pretty sure the following is good, Spoilt for choice and more than a bit confusing to me in particular.

SPA SUMMER CLASSIC - APRIL 25 26 27 28 - Organiser - Roadbook - https://roadbook.net/en/ - I think this event is free bar parking and camping.

SPA CLASSIC - MAY 17 18 19 - Organiser - Peter Auto - https://www.peterauto.fr/evenements/spa-classic/ - Tickets not yet on sale.

SPA 6 HOURS SEPTEMBER 26 27 28 29 - Organiser - Roadbook - https://roadbook.net/en/ - 26 27 should be free - 28 29 Tickets not yet on sale.
