Thank you to the team for today and to Mission Motorsport (Jim) for a fun if damp event at Thruxton today. - Bring back the Christmas PH goodies of old….

Thanks Ben & team for organising. Was a nice event especially since most other car events have stopped over winter.

Was a good mix of cars even with it being damp.

I never got to know the story of the blue Ferrari, was it a replica?

Yes it's a kit/replica/not real.

The blue Ferrari was a Tribute kit based on a Z3 with a supercharged 3.0 6.
Owner was a true gentleman.

I’d have been convinced it was a real Ferrari bar the plate being a B plate. Looked a very good replica in fairness, someone put a lot of effort into it!

The blue Ferrari was gorgeous, even if it was a replica. Very tempted to look at one of those! Also nice to see an original NSX there.

I must admit, I didn't stay long. I know we all like different things - but the mobile disco was doing my head in.............

Shame about the miserable weather but enjoyed it all the same. Wasted my time washing the car beforehand.

The bacon and egg bap was good too.

Yeah, the kit was pretty impressive but having it blaring out didn't really seem to fit with the vibe.

Yeah, I know Pistonheads is always a very eclectic mix of cars and that's what makes it so great but blaring subs out at 9am is not what PH meets are about. It's not Trax or Fast Show.

On another note - does anyone know where pictures from the event are uploaded to? I always see lots of people taking pictures with what look like really good cameras but rarely do they seem to be posted here. Cheers

I have seen some pictures uploaded on Instagram. I agree about the vibe at ph ss. It wouldn’t be good if it turned into the max power or fast car crowd. I might be getting old but I really don’t understand why people blast music around others.

I would imagine that people found the tickets on the Thruxton website and attended that way. I’ve been on a few PHSS, and not seen it before all that much mind, so they usually do fit the usual PH mix of cars. Also grateful to the staff for putting the event on, and Thruxton for hosting. Looking forward to next years events!

Hendy performance hold a regular meet there so those who attend that are probably often looking on the site for the next lot of tickets.
