Trackdemon - Honda NSX 3.0 (when not going sideways) - 160mph. The usual!

That is one nice sounding ve-hicle and I was impressed with your committment en route to Brunters; freezing conditions, rwd and no hint of grip breakage - impressive.

Glad it meets with your seal of approval DeR; for 2 years I didn't realize what my car sounded like until I got Beeston to give it some major anvillage past me at the summer VMAX and I was pleasantly suprised. It does sound very good from inside too - make sure you have the experience next time In fact I remember a distant invite/request to swap steeds for a run - lets make it happen!

BTW, there was a small degree of provoked oversteer on some of the slower roundabouts en route but obviously not enough to be visible. Must try harder Its an amazingly surefooted vehicle on roads like that - and TC is always switched off

I thought my speedo was under reading at Brunters but having had a look at the evidence I reckon I must have the worlds most accurate speedo!!

This is a shot from my 164mph run.

Got snuffy's speed. I assume the V8GT is owned by Neal M?

The red one is Neal's. Don't know his PH id. Mine was the silver one, richard (mancunian) had the dark blue one with the rear wing. All slightly different spec or modded hence the different speeds..

Yep, red was mine. PH id is, emm, unimaginatively neal_mcdonnell!

Is it as much as that.

Was there not a chap there with an M5 who was some kind of tuner? Was it Rob DMS??

I think he told me it was less than that

Yes. The guy in the blue M5 was Rob who owns DMS:

Daz - nastywej had 2 of his stable present - you have a figure for his gallardo but the 997C4S is missing - I think he made 166 - 2mph behind my C2S - with both very consistent at those figures over a few runs

I think his brother Alex was driving the car most of the day so I'll put his name down next to the entry.

I'd love to know how you managed to take that at 164mph. Oh and I note the 9mpg reading, expensive day for fuel, nice to meet you and hope to see you at the next one

What is the difference between the speedo and the timing equipment or are all cars different.

The law says that the speedo must be accurate to within 10% but it can never underead. Therefore they should all over read by anything from 0 - 10%. Normally it's at the higher end of that scale. Mine seems to be quite unusual in it's accuracy.
