Edited to abuse the odious, communist, greenslime, filthy dogs who threaten this last bastion of unrestrained, excessive, automotive hedonism with their pitiful, heinous objections to the glories of Modenese flattened crank.
Did Craig name it Vmax Extreme due to the obscenely low noise limit..?!?!

Next time make sure Simon's there from the go ... cos that lovely sound check lady seemed to lose aaaall interest in the cars and never left his side once our friendly man about town/international playboy/supercar driver turned up
Smifffy, put simply, there is something wrong with your head. It is not normal to see the world coming towards you from the passenger side window, despite what you might think!
It is, however, cracking fun! Thanks for the ride!
Also, a big thanks to Gman for the blat in the Ultima - that thing really is bonkers - I think I just laughed the whole way round. Stunned at how well it absorbed the bumps, but also how "chuckable" it appeared to be.

Gman - me mate, thats some weight you've lost!! Good to see you - nearly didn't recognise you at breakfast!
The story about Gmans trip to Bruntingthorpe (was it?) was a classic. Think it was Plotty who told me when we got there....
Absolutely - I don't know which was in ruder health that day; Gareth's lovely Ultima or the slimline Gareth himself! After one fantastic pax lap I can confirm that I've never been more right about attempting to build one of the things myself... Caterham on steroids with a 911-esque view looking out of the front. The way it reeled in a catapulted GT2 was pretty mental - that's 0-100 in 5.5 secs for you

Nothing wrong with that

146 in the sideways mobile - Headwind and a face like it's been punched meant the scoob was well down.
Great day, great people. Special thanks to Ian 550Hep for the ride.
Cheers
You are welcome smiffy, I have been driving it for 6k miles and I am only just about able to hold it in the bends you drove it like that first corner!!! By the 5th corner you had it actually dancing... :-) nice to see what the old girl can do, I did try to do the same and went on my little excursion, need drifting lessons I think!!
Cheers fella....

172 in the Stradale, and pulling 8250 in 6th going through the trap, so not much more left in her. Pretty much what I got last time, so no surprises there.
Biggest surprise was how, in the name of all that's holy, did my car get through the sound check? Uning believable. Suspect it was the guys making it difficult for her to get near the car. Thanks guys!

Was the loud cheer for your CS being 'noise approved' for the day?
Also it's odd that you should be pulling 172 at the top of 6th, a true 170 wasn't quite at 8000rpm in 5th in the GT3? You don't have an extra gear lurking somewhere in that paddle puller?

That would be myself and I think Smiffy, it spat loads of black stuff over my jeans but it was worth it to get it through!
