I know its short notice, but hey...

does anyone fancy going for a spin in the slough/ uxbridge area, tonight after life on mars? Don't want to go screaming around, just thought it might be nice to meet people, and perhaps share a few good routes? (i have to admit that my own knowlage is limited) As said, i'm not looking to go racing through the lanes at mach ten, just a nice cruise at sensible speeds...

if you're interested, post here, email, or if you like msn me (mechanical UNDERSCORE sympathy AT hotmail DOT com)

cheers,
hd

Dont have the car for it at the minute but the roads up around Black Park arent bad and out of the back of Windsor between Windsor and Ascot there are a few crackers.

Smiler.

Agreed. But most of the roads round Black Park are now restricted to 40 mph. Not that I've seen any cameras on there of late.

right then, tuesday th 27th, at 10 pm, at the crooked billet car park, if anyone has any ideas on routs, bang em up! what sort of time does everyone want to be done by? 11? 12? i cant see much point in meeting earlier thanks to traffic and bib attention, (dispite the fact we'll be doing nothing wrong)

i wouldnt want to go much earlier than half 9, thanks to traffic especially if there's a few of us, as overtaking dawdlers on a nsl road isn't easy when you're trying to stay together... although life on mars isn't on next week

last night it was myself and a fella from a vw forum, we took the senic route into windsor, really nice realxed drive actually, but i'm miffed i didn't take my cameras!

just so i can get an idea, what would everone be driving? shout if you have especially low ground clearance etc...

I did have to chuckle as the golf struggled with the bumps, while the civic barely noticed... (no wonder they're good for group n!)
