cry

I cant handle sleeping policeman or Myriad type speeds bumps (Those stupid pyramids they stick in the road!)

I can handle some speed bumps that span the whole width of the road so long as they are gradule and nothing to severe.

Damn my ill fitted exhaust.

well, i've had a think, and i've come up with the sort of idea you can get a government grant for:

We won't go anywhere with speed bumps.

I'm an idiot!

My car is going into the garage on monday so I can get a few bits and pieces sorted on it, however some of the bits may take a little while so the car maybe in there for a few days.

I shall have to give this one abit of a miss I'm afraid, but I will be on the next one when my car is back on the road.

Hi Dave,

Just happened to find this while looking for something to do this weekend. I'd be up for this Tuesday, will have a word with a couple of friends (also PHers), friend of mine lives right by the Crooked Billet.

If I pop out for a drive locally I would normally head to Harefield/Denham/Chalfonts since its the nearest NSL to my place and empty. Will be good to meet a few of the locals thumbup

I might come by after work, though i might look a bit stupid in my Fiesta.

Just for a look see, and maybe a drive...

There is a road south of windsor called Drift Road. Its an NSL and is quite a nice undulating straight.

Requiers a few dry runs first though.

hmmm, rain. rain is bad. i have a539s... rain+a539=a+e

so is that a vote for a trip to drift lane then? if so, i shat plan a route...

i'd like to point out again that its a social thing and quiet drive, rather than top gun hair on fire thing! (*panics about getting an asbo*)

Up to everyone else, I merely suggest a good place. Up to you for a route.

Theres gonna be alot of standing water on Drift Road.(quite large puddles covering one about half the road)

We can play it by ear, if its raining, then it sounds like drift lane is a bad idea. If thats the case then we can see if there are any other suggestions!

Ill try and have a think and post some links to google maps. thumbup

Looking forward to it!

This still stands I'm afraid.

However if I get my car back quicker than expected then I will definatly be there.
