After last year's 2 awesome runs organised by BarryJ and romanymagic (clap), I've decided to have a crack myself...

Here's the thread from Kent Run 1
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=303758&f=65&h=0

And the second
www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=310799&f=65&h=0

Assisting me will be DamienCBR. This year's run has a new theme - it's gonna be EPIC!
The route has been devised and will undergo full testing this weekend (parts have already been confirmed).
The route is designed to cover classic English country roads, but will also incorporate more stints of flowing, open stretches.

As a double bonus, all being well, we will end up in secured private parking in an enclosed paddock to the rear of a CAMRA award winning English country pub, where the owner will be putting on an all you can eat BBQ for about £7 a head.

I am expecting to run it on Sunday 10th June starting early a.m., although this may be subject to change.
I will have .itn files for any TomTom owners participating, please put (TT) next to your name if you have one!

Additionally, to help me organise this efficiently, please, send an e-mail to kentrun07@hotmail.com to confirm your interest and don't forget to include your contact details.

So who's up for it?

I think that is an excellent idea Was trying with the Cat the other day, very difficult with it being so dry. Last time i did it in a Caterham it was wet, much easier.

By the run i will have my R888's fitted so doughnut area needs to be on the grass.

Jay, byebye got your email and really looking forward to this.

Groomi - saw your 205 at the recent Woodman Meet, a really nice, clean example! I was over between the Ferret and the Mustang

Sorry to disappoint guys but the parking area isn't going to be big enough for silly stuff like that (well, not safely anyway, unless you're Russ Swift!)

Guys, update - the 3rd is Damien's wedding anniversary (congrats mate) so it'll have to be the 10th by the looks of things, I'll edit the main post to clear this up, hope it's not too much of a problem.

RochesterBMW, the run will be done and dusted by early afternoon, you'll have time to play with stickers afterwards

That's confirmed then we need a dedictaed donut area for the hooligans my car is running Avon CR500's so when they are cold its easy but when they warm up you really need to dump the clutch to lose traction.

I'll keep an eye out when I test the run this weekend
