I will be creating a little web-site with all the details on next week I hope - so you'll be able to find out all about startpoints, times, the entertainment and so on.

It'll be nice to see you on the day. Lets hope for a sunny one!

Any progress with this yet Don ? Getting very excited, Joospeed is working his Sooty Magic on our S on Monday so all being well .... dare I say it ....

Sorry...work work work...then a track day I just haven't finalised the details for the drive down. THIS WEEKEND I hope to do it. But rest assured it will start in Basingstoke on August 10th in the morning, travel by some fun and scenic roads to Hayling Island and park up in the usual car park for golf, fun and a picnic!

Mrs Fish: Excellent!

We are visiting friends down that way on the Saturday so thought we would tie in in whilst we are down there anyway.

Just noticed this is local to me so I should be able to make it.

Where do I need to get to and when?

By the way if you're lloking for a stop off - the Seven Stars pub just outside Petersfield is sports car friendly as that's where the Lotus meet-ups happen. It's on a top road too!

Hi Richard, Don is sorting out a route from Basingstoke to Hayling Island. I suspect that as you know the Seven Stars (Langrish way?) you are local to Petersfield, I imagine Don's route would come near you and you could pick up the tail end of the convoy.
Watch this space for Don's weblink coming soon.

Hello Al, I need to contact Don. He is organising the route down from Basingstoke to Hayling as per last year all the others that don't come that way will meet at our rendezvous and travel to the beach together.
I believe Don was doing a test run last weekend after which he will put up a web page to tell all.
Will mail him today or tomorrow - apologies, I've been a bit busy at work this week

You certainly will. All being well I'll be the one in the T-shirt with a pic of a gatso on the front and Kiss my Arse on the back. New purchase off internet, if it comes in time

Just to let everyone know - I am doing a "test drive" of the route tomorrow and will publish directions, timings, GPS coordinates and any worthwhile notes afterwards.

I'll also do an e-mail run to remind everyone in the week.

Enjoy the lovely weather - lets hope its this good on the 10th!
