The P1 is history. Long live the M5.

Damn hooligan.
The M5 has now arrived courtesy of said dealer - However it arrived with an extra frisson of scratches along the front curve of the bonnet and the air con was not fixed (so much for their week and a half warranty inspection).
So as lovely as the car is and as much as I now want to drive it to Land's End it will need to go to (another) BMW main dealer to get these bits sorted.
Conclusion so far: Beautiful car but the dealer network is truely abysmal. They've let me down more times in 2 weeks than the Subaru network did in 5.5 years. Impressive.

Thanks mate - my first introduction to 'handling' from the 'proper' end and suggested by our very own Squadron Leader Hopefully will make it for the August one if Craig will oblige, as I am away in July
Looking forward to getting myself past the 150mph mark on the VMax board
