Sorry, the fastest car on earth is, and always will be any hire car.

Until you've seen an absurdly highly tuned 993T4, a 360 Spider and a RR Tuscan chase a Primera across the Leicestershire countryside, I'll stick with the Primera

Hell yes. CarZee has an unnatural ability to extract speed from that car. Even now it's sat rotting on his driveway collecting heather and moss, but you know with one turn of the key it'd be ready to rip the doorhandles off whatever he went up against. Hire cars - munched!

yes

He introduced me to a whole new world of hitting first gear at 20mph ready to attack every Alpine hairpin in sight sideways. No wonder those P-Zeros didn't last very long hehe

Damn hooligan.

The M5 has now arrived courtesy of said dealer - However it arrived with an extra frisson of scratches along the front curve of the bonnet and the air con was not fixed (so much for their week and a half warranty inspection).

So as lovely as the car is and as much as I now want to drive it to Land's End it will need to go to (another) BMW main dealer to get these bits sorted.

Conclusion so far: Beautiful car but the dealer network is truely abysmal. They've let me down more times in 2 weeks than the Subaru network did in 5.5 years. Impressive. shoot

Thanks mate - my first introduction to 'handling' from the 'proper' end hehe and suggested by our very own Squadron Leader biggrin

Hopefully will make it for the August one if Craig will oblige, as I am away in July frown

Looking forward to getting myself past the 150mph mark on the VMax board smile
