With just over one week to go until PistonFest, I'm as excited as a 16 year old who's just found his fathers porn collection....scratchchin brings back memories cloud9

Basically, I can't wait. I'm not allowed out that often, as my better 3/4 usually dictates what social events and circles I am allowed to participate in. So this being a rare occasion has really got me going. I've not been to PF before, but is all my excitement justified? God I hope so.

Also, MrWallace has said I can take his motor for some track time, however, as it's not my car I'll be as nervous as an albino penguin at a bowling alley, still, what could possibly go wrong? We're all going the same way right?

Perhaps I'll just ask for a ride, and pray to Jesus that the God of MG Restorations has my car ready for next year so that I can repay the favour. rolleyes

Is it just me???????????

Nope, me too - my mate is even more excited as it's his first Piston Fest (or any sort of Pistonheads event)

Brings back memories for me too biglaugh

I too, am as excited as you, as this is the first PF for me as well. Thouroghly looking forward to it. Unfortunately I'm working on Friday, so I'll be coming down at first light on Saturday. A night of beer missed, will have to make up for it the rest of the weekend.

Do we have a team name yet??

I'm looking forward to it too! Now, I want to share a can of warm lager or glass of red with every single person there to introduce myself to you all. Therefore I have called nurofen and they are sponsoring my hangovers(s)

Come and say hi.....er actually i'll probably see you all as you drive in!

Can't wait bounce Also my first PF but looking forward to meeting some new faces and seeing one or two I have met already again.

The Saturday Convoy with the Midlands crew will be when it really starts to get exciting for me, followed by the establishment of base camp and then into the beer. drink

I've also heard that the band on Sunday night are supposed to be quite good?
